This gadget is brilliant.

The instruction booklet is so easy to understand,
and is very informative.

Depending on the quality selected you can get between
19 and 66 hours of recordings.

it has a zoom mic so you can aim it at a person ie during a lecture.

You can have a secure folder so nobody can listen to your recordings without your password.

Its possible to record from tape cassette by stereo cable (not supplied)

There is software included so you can edit the files on your pc.

Runs off 2 x AAA batteries which can last up to 15 hours in playback and
30 hours in recording modes.

Is small in weight - 61g approx with batteries inserted (38 without).

Size is quite small at 39x105x17mm (approx).

Overall this is a great little gadget especially for school/college/boardroom.

This product was bought for my boyfriend who just started university, and has difficulty remembering his lectures.
Product pics up sound great, speaker quality is not the best, but that is neither here nor there, a set of headphones and it is great, the zoom feature on the microphone can pick up a single persons voice across a classroom of whispering people. Again not the most amazing soung quality, but when used closer in, the sound is very very clear. The text to speech function takes some work to get it working really well, and only works for your voice as you need to train your computer to recognize it. All in all though, this dictaphone is less than half the price of any that come close to its quality, i would strongly recommend this to anyone who finds the need to own one, after a week of use, my boyfriend cant live without it

I had a sony digital recorder for many years but if finally packed in. I need a replacement urgently as I take minutes of meetings for a World organisation and a recorder is a must. I actually also use an old Olympus tapt model as well as a back-up.
I read some revies and the panasonic ticked all the boxes. I knew the price in the shops was about £80 so when I say one on ebay I was more than a little inerested and I giot it for just over £10 - and brand new still in the box. The seller lived only 1/2away from me so I picked it up - saved £5 in postage. I have now used it several times. Its almost perfect and the clarity of the recording when using ear phones is superb. It also will record for about 16 hours - more than enough for my use. The only downside is that to rewind, you turn a serated wheel, Whilst it "winds back", it is not all that accurate and seems to go back in "bands". It does not do this when going forward so there might be a fault with it but I can live with that. Overll I'm very pleased with it - and for £10 I got a bargain.
