Panasonic NV-FJ620 VHS / S-VHS playback VCR

I am one of those old fashioned people who are not ready to bin my video just because society says so. I don't see why I can't have both a vcr and a dvd. I don't want to pay for skyplus or equivalents when I can tape my programmes for free. Besides, skyplus etc is a selfish medium, whereby you can't say "did you miss that? I taped it - I'll lend you it".
Anyway - There is only one brand name that I trust 110% for electronic goods and that is Panasonic. I have never had one bad experience with a Panasonic product and neither has anyone I know.
The machine itself was modern, with loads of features and an easy to understand and set-up menu.
I would recommend this model to anyone looking to replace their tired old vcr but not ready to do without.

This is an old model, predating 2004. Purchased very cheaply second-hand as a stopgap. It records and playsback very well. It lacks later refinements, such as titles, a library, and the ability to record subtitles, unless the subtitles are on a digital channel.

Arrived in less the twenty-four hours of purchase, well wrapped and packaged and exactly as promised. It was also post free and still came in cheaper than several others that were for sale at the same time.
