Panasonic NN-A554 1000 Watts Convection / Microwave Oven

This product was purchased some six months ago. When choosing, I was looking for a 'combination' microwave; this slim line appliance proves its worth. Sitting comfortably on a kitchen work top, taking up far less space than my previous combi oven. When viewing related products, its price was impressive when compared to other makes.
The 'Cook Book & Operating Instructions', are well written, and provide good clear advice to get you started. The auto weight cook programmes prove useful, and the defrost setting a god send when something from the freezer takes your fancy. The powerful 1000W microwave oven, makes rapid progress on heating food or liquids, the lower power settings being available but rarely used.
The built in convection oven quickly finds any preheat temperatures, saving time and money on electric. With a built in grill in the top of the oven for browning and cooking, what more could you wish for. The ability to use combination cooking is available, but not used. The oven size will comfortably take a family casserole dish, however, you would not wish to attempt to grill any more than two medium gammon steaks on the grill rack.
All in all, I am extremely pleased with my purchase of this product, and have recommended it to work colleagues.

It is very powerful,large inside which allows me to put several items in at the same time.The fan is not annoying like my last one,and stops very soon after food is cooked.It is neat in size,with good quality inner dishes for roasting.Easy to use without too many buttons.I am delighted with it.MM.

What can I say, this is the very best all round oven I have ever owned, I cooked a 1.5KG chicken from raw in little over half an hour, it comes with a very comprehensive cook book which uses all the features and benefits of Microwave for speed, convection and grill for browning to get that "conventional" look and taste I can't praise it enough. My five year old daughter loves to help me prepare and cook various dishes and even she mastered some of the controls in the first evening.
No I don't sell catering equipment or have shares in Panasonic (well not yet anyway but I am seriously considering it), in short just get one of these I picked mine up for £70 including p&p they retail at about £140.

The item was supplied faulty for which a refund was given ,however the return postage was refused although under the sale of goods act as the item was faulty they were liable for postage costs .I was advised to take the matter further by trading standards ,however i did not in the end because i was out of the country for a number of weeks shortly after and would not have been able to be around to pursue the matter.
I probably will never ever buy such a large item again through an Ebay Trader as it is not worth the hassle if it has to be returned even though in this case the law was 100% on my side

I was looking for a micro/combi oven to use in the caravan awning when on holiday. As I have been using a Panasonic Demension4 for 10 years and up to now it has not let me down, I feel that Panasonic is a reputable company so was pleased to see they did a lightweight slimline model when doing my research. The control panel is easy to use and the instruction booklet is quite explicit. To cook with it as a convection oven it does need to be preheated and depending what temp. you require it to be can take about 10 mins. I have not used the grill, I tend to use it for defrosting or convection cooking. I am very pleased with it and can recommend it and it will fit into an Ikea 'blue bag' for transporting. For me it is Just the Job!!

A really good combination oven and comes with a clear set of instructions for cooking most things.

Do not be put off by the size of the book - it is a god send when you want to work out how to cook anything with such a powerful microwave oven.

The moment it arrived we had jacket potatoes on the go! In auto mode took 17mins for two decent sized spuds that came out like they had been in the oven for an hour.

Cannot recommend it stronger. Would buy another one if I needed another microwave. I have had Panasonic's since they came out in the 90s and never been let down by one yet.

However don't be put off by the creaks and noises when it cooks, they all do it! The fan also is not to bad in a kitchen so all these people who say it is noisy - it is not for a fan microwave - it is on and off while cooking and if your kitchen is that quiet you can borrow my kids and then the oven will be the last thing you here!

love everthing about it, saves time effort and money , just love to cook wth it perfect food every time without all the effort. Fab price into the bargain.

bought because good price with box damage only. but when it arrived it was dirty used food marks was all over the under side and inside of microwave all they had done was clean the out side it was a health hazard and im not joking the food marks was growing fungus and mold wife would not allow it in the house so i sent it back and aksed for refund will not buy from them again this is no good buying with dirty food stains on .

We bought this oven to replace a 5-year old Panasonic with a similar specification which had just failed. We chose another Panasonic because the maximum convection oven cooking time was far greater than some other makes - over 9 hours instead of around 90 minutes. My wife finds the oven ideal for cooking fruit cakes which take 120 minutes.
In all other respects we like the facilities offered by this oven. It is easy to use, and easy to set the time. The accompanying instruction book is comprehensive.
We expect this oven to perform really well - hopefully for more than 5 years!

Liked the price and ebayer was quite helpful to start with. It was a collection only item, I asked them was the item boxed they said yes. So I arranged with DHL to collect it all a hassle. When it arrived the box was split there was little or no packaging just one small layer of polystyrene and the glass turntable was not packaged or propected at all and so as a result was broken in pieces and the door hinge was broken. This is where their service stopped and they refused to replace the oven or turntable, as a result I had to pay out over £50 to get it in working order.

I must love this as this is my second model.the first i had 10 years only had to change it because door was cracked. there was nothing i didnt like about it i used it every day and had no problems.Its easy to clean because of the stainless steel interior and cooks food evenly.

FAB MICROWAVE HAVE NOW GOT RID OF MY COOKER AS THIS DOES EVERYTHING I NEED & IS SO EASY TO USE EVEN MY 7 YEAR OLD CAN WORK IT
