I like this camera, it is easy to use, the anti shake facility is great, the auto intelligent function is superb it takes all the hassle out of general photo taking.

the one and only problem I have is the monitor switches off too quickly, I have tried adjusting the length of time, but it does not seem to make any difference.

I bought this camera to take on holiday to visit the Hungarian Grand Prix. It is a lovely little camera, sooooooooooooo easy to use, an ideal holiday companion. The charge on the battery lasted an age, we got some really good shots of the grand prix using the various modes on the camera and at the end of three days ended up with over 4,000 photos, none of which were blurred (we did get a few of a blank race track and loads of the crowd), all copletely in focus and of geat quality.

My mum borrowed it and has always had problems with focusing and shaking while using a digital camera, she has arthritus and finds it difficult to hold still. She now wants one as its the only camera she has used and ended up with decent photographs. If mum can use it it must be easy.

I have now bought one of these for myself, my daughter, my two neices and now my mum. Five (in as many colour variations as we could find) in one family means it has to be good for use by all ages (8 - 67).

There may be negative points to this camera (but I haven't found any yet!!)

I would highly recommend this camera to anyone who has dexterity problems

This camera is ideal for anyone who wants a point and shoot with a few extras added on. The optical zoom feature is brilliant, it takes fast photos in low light conditions, the picture quality is good, and there are an array of options for different conditions and picture types. It is a very intuitive system, so there will be no great need to even use the manual.

The negative points with the camera are - it is a point and shoot first and foremost, so no extras with shutter speed and aperture control of course. Also, it would be wise to get extra memory - 4GB upwards would be ideal. Thirdly, a spare battery would always come in useful - battery life is very good all things considered, but it is always irritating without a spare. Finally the filming option is a bonus, but it isn't very flexible. The sound quality is ok, but not great, there is no zoom option, and the picture tends to come out with a sort of blue filter effect.

Altogether I am really pleased with this purchase, and could recommend it to anyone out there who wants a low maintenance, easy to use, great value, and top quality digital camera.

The camera is very easy to use, most people who will buy this as a point and shoot will be content to use it as it is, out of the box, with its excellent automatic config settings.

The camera looks very sleek and compact. Layout of controls is good, the screen is easy to look at and displays images perfectly. For those confident of modifying some settings and going deeper into controlling their pictures, the menu is very user friendly.

The pictures taken in normal daylight are superb quality. They look good when seen in high res on a computer screen and even the images I have developed in 6 x 4, which is the standard size of an album photo, are of high quality.

The one area wherein this camera is a bit fiddly to set up is in its night pictures. It took me a fair while to understand how to make my night pictures look good. But rest assured, once you've done that right, you will be stunned by how good the images taken at night time are. I really was astounded by how clear they looked. The flash does its part well here.

Overall, for someone wanting a good camera to take everyday pictures with, be it on holiday, at parties or occasions, I think this fits the bill.

the camera is really good. i switched from Casio exilim and i am very happy with the quality. however for some reason there was a problem in less than a month with the objective. it had a problem in focusing. the seller was very helpful about the issue. they replaced it with a new one in a short while. i appreciate the customer support which i believe is really important esp in e-trade. i strongly recommend both the company and the product...

Being a user of more superior cameras, i found this a gem to use, its packed to the brim with hidden features, which you don't have to worry about, such as face focus recognision and vivid colour enhancement. Ten meg cameras often seem a little slow to respond, but not this one, its quick to focus and fast to shoot the picture too. I would say this is a fine investment for any true phototgrapher, and you can carry it arround with you 24-7 if you so wish, due to its tiny size and weight. Top marks to panasonic a real winner
