Panasonic KX-TG7123ES 1.9 GHz Twin 1-Line Cordless Phone

Please not the review is for the simens gigaset c475 duo no the panasonic phones indicated automatically by ebay!.

They arrived and at first it was a little dispappointing as batteries are NiMH which means fully charging and letting run down completely before being able to return them to the base station, also one of the handsets did not register automatically so had to set manually which was a flaff. But once set up the features really are superb, I called BT and set up caller ID which they did for free and once done the phones really come into their own, you get all the features you do with your mobile, text messaging, voicemail from handset etc, the polyphonic ringtones sound cool too. Call clarity for the listener is good, this was the reason we ditched our last phones. The volume for listening to calls is adequate although I would have liked a shade louder. Handsfree operation is really good and helpfull for talking whilst working again call quality is great both ways. There are tons of other really great features that can easily be accessed too via the simple menus, I think they are good value and would recommend.

Great phone and its got every thing a normal user needs , it also has an excellent range. The speaker is also has a good sound and volume.

I thought my phones were on their way out but these batteries have given them a new lease of life. Reasonably priced and good service too.

4 handsets come in very handy - decent battery life, clear signal. Not the best menus and slow to dial / connect, but call quality is good. Value for money.

Being a middle aged technophobic saddo I bought this because it had a good write up in Which? and our old phone had finally succumbed to the abuse given to it through my wife's tempestuous relationship with her mother (see, in the olden days you could slam the phone down; pressing a little red button does not vent the same amount of frustration and hence the phone may have become "thrown" a few times)

In my simple terms - it has two phones, an answer-phone and was easy to set up and install. It is easy to use too - I've only tested basics but calls are very clear, even at the furthest point away from the base station in the house. It has a page button to help you find the handsets and can work as an intercom and as a baby monitor which activates at a pre set sound level (this may work for returning late night teenagers too - not tested it yet)

Having read the manual (told you i was middle aged) it has lots of fancy functions that I do not use like SMS and the ability to use both hand sets on one call (it annouces this too so it is pretty evesdrop proof).

It uses standard aaa sized rechargable batteries, which is handy.

the seller has the best price on ebay,great replacement item,phones are easy to use and look great.a little hard at times to replace the handset,to the base,good selection of ring tones,intercom is great we use it loads in our house,we have the 4 hand set version,no problems,battery life could be better.

This product is so hard to find, these are at an excellent price, great communication and next day delivery. Would reccomend

Bought this as a work phone for my home office after I had two cheap ones break from argos.
Difference in quality is obvious from the start both in voice quality and weight of handset.
Overall I prefer my Philips set I have for home use but they were far more expensive.

really luv these phones, there of slim design, stylish and high tech. plenty of memory to store upto 50 numbers, crystal clear sound quality but most of all the price is fantastic when compared to other retailers. the service i received was top class, great communication throughout. top ebayer and i would recommend them to anyone. one happy customer thankyou.

As above - I tried Philips and Bt versions and this is by far the easiest to set up and use - very user friendly. Which said they were good and they are:)

This is the best Dect phone system I have ever used or bought. I have a four handset system, all the handset bases can be remotely situated as only the answer machine part is plugged into the home/work phone jack, and you don't need to be able to see the answer phone part because all the handsets flash to tell you there is a missed call or answer phone message which you access from the handset.

Another great feature is that the system acts as a PABX system, meaning that you can set which phones ring when an external call comes in and you can transfer internal and external calls from one phone to another. Phones can be set to vibrate and ring, ring only or vibrate only.

You can name each handset which appear on the screen and you can call each handset individually or page them all.

A very easy to use system and alot of features.

I bought a set of 3 IDECT phones & for a while they seemed fine until I realised that all 3 of them were going low on battery after about 35 minutes. I bought this set of batteries and it has solved the problem. The phones should have a talk time of 8 hours & a standby time of app 100 hours. I haven't had chance to test them to the full yet but they are certainly lasting a lot longer than they did before, well worth the money. Highly recommended to anyone who has had a set of IDECT phones for a while, it brings them back to their 'New Condition'...AA+

Quality product, excellent sound characteristics , whether used on land line or voip. A little tricky to setup initially for the service provider I was using. (probably easier if the set was with the providers on the phone settings list). Very impressed with quality and cost of calls, saves a fortune if you are making calls on a regular basis. Recommended for anyone who has a broadband connections and wants to save money on calls, taking into account the initial outlay for the phone(s)

This is great You can peace at last !!!! I have 2 kids and they now have there own direct line to there room which means I now don't get disturbed in the evening for someone else calls. I am still finding things out but the phone does nearly everything I need email, text, voice mail and Direct lines. I use SIPGATE.co.uk and there call quality is near on the same as a land line call. And the old dect phone work on it but I going to replace all the handsets.

I bought this phone for both my landline and for Skype and so purchased the M34 USB as well. If you just want a cordless phone then this thing will do almost everything apart from cook the dinner. Setup is easy after a quick look through the instruction book, but you may need to keep it handy in order to set the phone up the way you want it, as unless you have a photographic memory you are not going to be able to do without it.
However, as I said I bought this phone and M34 USB in order to have it primarily as a Skype phone, as most of the sellers offered it as such. This is a nightmare to set up and unless you are a real setup expert, expect to be doing it for a good couple of hours at least.
As this is a review for the phone and not for the M34 USB I won't try to to explain, but if you do want the skype option, then good luck, you will need it!
