Palm Treo™ 750v Smartphone

I really like the phone the way it looks and what it does and can do. The Text messaging side of it is really excellent using the windows Mobile 6 software it will try and complete the sentence that you have started to write. At times though the phone can be a bit slow and sometimes it just doesn’t respond to button presses sometimes but other wise a nice phone and lots of extra software available for it. I will have another one as I really like the calendar part and the fact that you can even use it with outlook on the computer even the contacts. The phone only loses marks because it is sometimes slow and don’t always respond to key presses and also the 3 day battery life if you don’t really use the phone to much.

I needed a very quick present for a very good friend and decided to just go for this phone. A bloke i dealt with was very excellent, sent me images of the item by email before i even bought it because i wanted to be sure it A BIT clean, knowing how some people will just advertise a clean phone but ship you a very bad quality item.I can say its the best thing till date that i bought off Ebay.
The seller was super helpful, very honest and above all very friendly.

A couple of days later the item arrived and to my surprise it was like a BRAND NEW phone. It is an amazing feeling and i think only once in a while you get to buy such stuff. The handset was brilliant and i was tempted to keep it but since it was a present i had to let it go.

Its a purchase i'll never forget.

general phone funtions are a bit quirky but fast internet and good calender funtion make this phone very useful

Good phone. Replaced my current one which had failed. Prompt service and phone in good condition. Only problem it was locked to Vodafone and I had to pay a further £20 to get it unlocked. NFJ

Opinions on a new product will be swayed a lot by the phone you previously owned, so I am comparing this my Sony Ericsson P910i smartphone running Symbian. Since that old phone was really dated I decided to invest in something newer, in this case the Palm Treo 750v. It's lighter, thinner and runs Windows Mobile 5.0. Good points: The keyboard is slighty better, the camera is much better, the screen is higher res. Bad Points: a call takes a second or two longer to place, I miss the jog wheel on the side, the keylock is prone to unlocking in my back pocket.

So, overall a better phone but the main downside is it's missing the incredible jog wheel on the side which meant I could do everything quickly with my thumb.

I love the Palm Treo 750, it's a stylish phone with all the features that you need in a phone . Easy to set up and use, has a tour guide to take you through everything on the phone. Come supplied with windows easy to access instant emails.

I have used Palm Treo's for some years now and have been on the whole pleased [especially since they changed to one piece phones - before this the hinge always broke, the question was just 'how long?']. Anyway...

I was used to the Palm OS and purchased this Windows Mobile phone in error. I don't use Windows on my notebook computer [Apple OSX] and have over many years found Windows irritating and difficult. However, I was more than pleasantly surprised by this phone. It was extremely easy and so far has not locked up once. Next best to an iPhone, this is definitely the PDA/phone for me.

Installing some programs was somewhat difficult - when I had hot-synced the CAB file to the phone I could not find the file on the phone to install.

In also wish it had build in wi-fi. I have purchased a mini SD card for this, but it cannot live in the phone 24x7 as it protrudes slightly from the phone.
