Palm Pre (8 GB) Smartphone

I'll keep this easy...........
THE GOOD, excellent screen, (mp3's, films youtube clips etc. display perfectly)
The processor working with webos is sooooo fast, first phone I've had that can REALLY multitask multiple apps with NO problems.
Perfect pocket size, light and smooth, keyboard good once you're used to it.
Fun, it's a phone you'll love to play with, and get to know.
Webos is so easy to master compared to windows mobile, it's very logical.
GPS quality good, google maps and other position based apps very fast.
POOR.....instructions are next to useless, battery life is as short as that on iphone.
Signal strength is never high wherever I am, although my other phones on the same network show max reception.
Unless you have a data package with O2 set up for the pre, it wont allow you to get past the initial set up. Mines running on 3 (thanks rebel) "unlocked"
Apps available limited at mo, but increase everyday, and there are 3rd party apps from other suppliers.
No satnav app at present, so I have to take another unit with me, yes I'm a bloke, I need toys, and I travel alot and need directions to get off my driveway......
OVERALL, most fun phone I've owned, and I change them every few months, so I've had alot, would I change it for anything else out there? certainly not at the moment.

it so so clever it knows more about me than i do lol with in about 5mins for playing witht the plam pre i had all my contacts from facebook emails and profile pics set up love it
