PACKARD BELL 400 IN CAR GPS NAVIGATION SYSTEM Car GPS Receiver

This navi unit is fairly stylish nad easy to use. I have not had it very long but as I drive all over country for a living I have had plenty of oppotunity to test it, and it seems competent. The screen is large and clear with plenty of information. The vocal instructions for turns etc, are clear and give you plenty of chance to prepare to manouvre.

Speed cameras are not naturally a part of the GPS400 set up but can be installed and update online, some very helpful and clever dude sorted that out.

The only problem I've found is moving back out of the menu screen to the map view. Other than this, it is a good product for the price.

The packard bell sat-nav, was said to be in great condition & reliable,
(or similar words).
It is not! - Using post code and street addresses - it would deviate, take me
into unwanted trading estates and could not take me within half mile of my
own home. Not one destination was accurately found in my own locality,
I dont know why it was offered as a working sat-nav? I would'nt want to
trust it on seriously unknown destinations.

I know this GPS, I had one before before it has been stolen from my car. It is a very good GPS with a large screen and all the functions needed. I hope to get one like this again.

I bought the goods they were sent to me quickly and all seemed well. Then I realised that something was missing and the item wasn't working as it should be and have not been able to contact the seller. I finally recieved a responce from the seller but only after the money back period was over so now they will not do anything. This is the first time I have bought electrical goods via ebay and I won't be doing it again.

as i lost my 400 series sat nav i was very please to win a nother one as i have found this model easy to use and very useful at times and all so accrcute

I like this device because there are loads of free tips for upgrading it to run tom-tom software.

It's a pretty good GPS, and although it might not be quite as good as some "all singing & dancing" devices on the market it does more than the price tag suggests, and with the tom-tom upgrade (including full postcode search etc.) you'll have to go a long way to beat it for value for money.
