P.S. I Love You (DVD)

it is the best film i have seen in ages it is so amazing it really makes you thing about what you want out of life and who you want to spend it with. I watched it with my sister and boy friend we were all crying loads.

You have to see it.

A VERY girly flick but for all those men who are in touch with their emotions also! Visit the American film version of Ireland - let a death become the next chapter of a love which never gave in or bought into social rules. A beautiful way to leave someone helping them BE the one they truly are. Just a heart-warming story of love and the passing with dignity of a REAL man who truly valued his wife. Is this a tale of true soul-mates? You'll have to decide for yourselves! Truly a lovely film.

I needed some new dvds to update my collection and had heard alot about this film but had never seen it. Very good film...makes you laugh and cry! good chick flick! It does tend to make u feel depressed after you've watched it lol really sad film.

Absolutely brilliant film, moving, funny, tear jerking, a pure mix of everything. Could sit and watch it one hundred times!! perfect for duvet days!!

Watched this with girlfriend, she and I both loved it. It made us value how much each others lives meant to each other. A moving story inwhich a man dies and leaves his wife letters, leading her to a new life beyond him, via introducing to her to his old best mate whom she falls in love with. A great watch for you and a partner. Highly Recommended

i had a seen this film once before i brought this,i wanted this in my dvd collection as it's a brillant film once you get into the story.Very worth watching.

i was very happy with this purchase!! the dvd was more or less brand new!! it was in great condition :)

i decided to buy the dvd as i had just read the book.I enjoyed the dvd but preferred the book better.It would have been better to watch the dvd first as a lot was missing in the dvd.

i rented this film and loved it so much i had to buy it. its so real... makes you appreciate your spouse. really moving, made me cry because you automatically put yourself in that situation.(i dont cry often either) absolutely fantastic story line and i love that its set in ireland, such a beautiful country.
even my husband really loves this film and will watch it over and over with me.
the parts are played really well.
you must watch this film... it is great.
i've even bought the book now which i couldn't put down either.

Enjoyed it but not as good as all the hype when the film first came out.( When is it? ) Was expecting to need a box of tissues but didn't need one. Enjoyable but missable. Sorry if you saw this on the big screen and loved it.
The book is better.

WONDERFUL MOVIE,WELL ACTED BY ALL PERFORMERS,GREAT AND WITTY DIRECTION,SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN CINEMAS FOR WEEKS

This is a fun, loving, romantic comedy, this tear jerkin film will leave you laughing and content. I decided to buy this film because it starrs my favorite actors Hillary Swank, Lisa Kudrow & Gerrard Butler there is nothing i dislike about this film.

I puchased this dvd because it was much cheaper than in the shops. I was really pleased with the quality of the dvd and the packaging.

I hired this film out and enjoyed it so much I wanted to purchase it so decided to look on e-bay. It is a love story but not too girly as my husband really enjoyed it as well. There are a lot of funny moments as well as a couple of sad ones. The book was actually much sadder than the film. I enjoyed the music in the film as well so if you like a romantic and funny film you will really enjoy this.

Loved this film, very funny and so sad too. Would recommend to anyone who loves a bit of love and comedy rolled into one..... Thoroughly enjoyed this film.....

saw this on the cinema and had to buy it when it came out!! Fantastic story about a woman putting her life back together after tragic loss. funny, sad, heart warming. watch with a mug of tea and a box of tissues.

first of all i cried my way through the book, one of the best story lines in a long time, and well writen.but when someone told me they were making a film of it, i was not keen on the idea, as many books have been ruined by the film. but a huge credit to both wrighter and the director, the dvd is even fantastic. i have watched it 5 times already lol
but i advise you too read the book first,it goes more into detail,and feelings and emotions,i guarentee you will cry your eyes out at the film.

incredibly romantic, sad, funny, loveable characters, easy watching tear jerker with an interesting route to a happy ending.

I watched this film recently on a plane and throughly enjoyed it. Luckily I had a paper hanky at hand as you can feel a fool wiping your eyes when everyone around you is watching different films..... I'm now curious to read the book after reading the other reviews. Would buy the dvd and watch again as it's one of those films to watch when you feel a bit blue and have an excuse to shed a few tears....

A decent heartwarming film for those who love love. It will tug at your heart and reach for the nearest cushion to hold as Hilary Swank deals with personal loss and searches for hope.

Whether you enjoy this film, or are disappointed depends on if you have read the book. I hadn't, rather enjoyed it, and the surprise bit made me cry (at the cinema!). My friend had read the book and was bitterly disapointed at the changes that had been made to the charaters to appeal to the american market. Sometimes it works, other times it doens't, having since read the book, I beleive this time it was a mistake.

This dvd is an emotional rollercoaster which leaves you with what seems an emotional hangover lol, It has the lows and highs, very funny and touching, does credit to the book. Enjoy!

Who ever doesn't write or say this at some time doesn't know how to love, I saw this film with my daughter & it did make me cry but it's the sort of film you want to watch again & again, thinking what did she do next, or whatever was he thinking a must for anyone male or female, young or old.

Once you have watched it you will see what I mean......
