Original TV Soundtrack - Buffy The Vampire Slayer (Once More With Feeling) (CD 2002)

This is based on the musical episode of the series. And includes instrumentals from other stories. It has great numbers, very tongue in cheek. Get it now and remember the slayer in comedy mode.

First off, I would like to say I got into this series because of chicks, violence and vampires. I never cared much for musicals. I will also admit to not watching it when it first aired, and avoided watching it. But of course, I really couldn't as the episode added more to further the plot/storyline. At first I thought it was ok, then it wasn't so bad, then it was pretty good, and now I totally enjoy the ep. Also watching the behind the scenes for the ep on DVD, I developed a greater understanding and appreciation of the efforts put into making the ep, by both Joss and the actors/actresses. I'll also add that I've listened to my CD 45 times.

The only flaw I have of this album is that it does NOT have the song Anya sings in the episode "Selfless". If they ever do a re-release, it's got to include Anya's "Missus" song, and if they want to put it over the top, include the bit about getting mustard on the shirt.

I'm actually giving it a 4.5/5, as it's not a complete album without Anya's very cheerful "Missus" song. Since the Ebay system doesn't do "halfs", I will not choose 4/5, that's too low a score. You can't go wrong with this CD, it's a special episode that rightly deserves an album dedicated to it.

for any buffy fan, the sound track to once more with feeling the musical episode. funny and cool. it encludes all the songs even the mustard song!! a classic.

Dont know why i liked this so much i hate musicals but almost every song in this episode stuck with me i had to buy the cd and i just cant stop listening to it.

This soundtrack was a work of art. The episode of Buffy was in my opinion, one of the best episodes created by Joss Whedon. Showing each characters feelings and fears through song was an inspiring idea. I don't think there are any flaws in this work and its a breathe of fresh air. I'd recommend this soundtrack to anyone as it has some really amazing songs on it and some of the characters have amazing voices.

My love for the buffy series prompted this purchase and it really is worth having if you like the episode and understand the references throughout the songs.
The music is very good - the singing is musical like, not perfectly polished, but it's the cast and not voice overs so you've got to give them credit for that. Its all good catchy fun and the instrumental tracks are nice extra.

I fell in love with CD after seeing the episode in season 7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In terms of Musicals this is without the best Musical I haver heard and even if you do not watch Buffy the Vampire Slayer it is a must see or listen for fans of excellent musicals. To describe it in detail it takes my breath away

Brilliant lyrics and music by Joss Whedon, a must for any Buffy fan. The only down side is that there is virtually none of the dialogue between the numbers. Comes with full lyrics sheet to settle any arguments about the actual content of the songs. Some great bonus instrumententals at the end.

the songs on this are so good, if they were released into the charts im sure they would do well. The music is also really good, "sacrifice" from buffy's death scene in the gift is so amazing, it actually gives you the feeling of the loss of buffy in the episode

It was one of the all time best episodes of The hit series Buffy the vampire slayer, and I couldn't stop watching it just to hear the songs again and again so having the cd has helped me alot. I would definately recommend it to anyone.
