For anyone who was raised on musicals like I was, Singing in the rain always holds a special place...This double disc edition includes songs that were not used in the movie, but are such added bonuses to the feel of the movie! Particular treats are 'Holiday of the painted doll' which is such a rarity to hear! Judy Garland lends her voice to a few songs and Arthur Freed even sings the theme tune! I bought this because I wanted to have the extended version of 'Broadway melody' which is fantastic, and at the price of £1.99, it's probably the most amazing buy I've made in a long while!
There are shorter versions of this soundtrack on itunes or even here on ebay. This is the real deal, don't get anything less!
