Original London Cast - Phantom Of The Opera [Remastered] (CD 2000)

I wanted this to replace old records that I have, every thing about the c.d., it's delivery and speed of the delivery was very, very good, I do not have any complaints what-so-ever, thank go to all at e-bay and the sellers.

You can't beat the genuine article and this certainly is, the music and songs put you in front of that stage, your imagination can go wild.I bought this cd because it has Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman as the phantom and Christine. The songs are so memorable. The music allows you to feel the fear and excitement of the show. Magnificent.

We bought this cd as a replacement for the one our Daughter lost.It is an amazing piece of work which can be listened to again and again.The original cast is so much better than any of the others out there it is clearer and the voices are so much more dramatic, it is really just like seeing the musical all over again.This truly is an outstanding piece of work that brings much pleasure.

Do I like it I dont know, as unfortunatly it never arrived. And now I dont know what to do, and as this was the first time I had used eBay it has not encouraged me to use it again.

Lets face facts - I LOVE THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA

From the prologue to the very last note it is sheer brilliance.

Lloyd Webber never wrote anything like it before or indeed afterwards, it's as though all the very best of his music was put into this one single show.

The CD is superb with glittering performances from Crawford & Brightman. It is hard to choose one favorite peace, except the whole show!

It is a timeless masterpiece, something very special indeed, and one can only hope that one day someone will again write a musical to match Phantom.

This cd is the original west end cast and is fantastic it has been remastered and the sound quality is cristal clear

i had the vinyl version of this many years ago, and to hear it again now in all it's glory on cd almost brings all it's passion and glory to life.absolutely fantastic.lloyd-webber at his very best.

I have been lucky to see this twice on stage but not with the original cast, sadly!

My mum had the cassette of this way back but it got chewed up over time so I decided to treat us to the CD version.

And wow, it is still as good as I remembered it but with more songs then I remembered from before.

The Overture is still brilliant and gets the senses jangling...then to hear Michael Crawford sing Music Of The Night is just awesome.

I have recently seen the film version and whilst it was good it still lacked something that you will definately find in this CD - good spine tingling performances from Sarah Brightman & Michael Crawford.

Get this - you will not regret it!

Brilliant to hear it performed by the original cast.....and the whole story told. We saw the stage show in London last year and thought it was excellent and I have always liked the songs any way. This CD is recommended for listening to in the car.....makes a long journey more interesting. Good quality CD
