Andrew Lloyd Webber's adaptation of Gaston Leroux's gothic horror/romance novel with worldwide sales of its original cast album approaching 25 million. While director Joel Schumacher's film turns on his typically ambitious visual verve, its new film soundtrack recording has been a hit for me .The presence of a hundred piece orchestra and The London Boys Choir. This double disc version showcases all of Phantom's musical (with Gerard Butler imparting a welcome, youthful sensuality to his Phantom, making a fine foil for Emmy Rossum's ever-conflicted Christine.
This is credit to all involved with the musical.
i loved it.
for years i had it on cassette.
And finally managed to get on CD
Downloaded onto my MP3
peolple might love it or hate it.
I'd love to go and see the stage version. but pennies are a bit low.
yet i can have great pleasure in listening to the CD's
