I bought this item for my wife as she liked the series very much, I must say that though the program is old you can watch them over and over again and still have a good laugh

These are PIRATE DVD's obviously the seller does not know it's illegal to sell copied disks. I've been contacted by the seller with them saying " it says it in the item description all buyers are responsible for reading the whole item description before buying / bidding " take a look and see if it does stipulate they are copies (300019578857)

I never actually received this item but paid for it. As a valid customer of ebay I was very dissipointed in the effort on your behalf that nothing was done to retrieve the money I had paid for this item.

I had this as a Christmas present and when I opened it up I liked what I saw. However, I were most annoyed when the front box said all episodes but the thing is it's not the full episodes. Ok it has a lot of episodes but the thing is it's faulse advertising surly as a lot of Christmas episodes are missing the episode (I think) To Hull and back is also missing. Come on BBC stick your thumb out and give us the full thing. Now I have to buy extra more just to get the full thing which is rather anoying. I don't think I should have to pay more just to get missing episodes no one should. Either the BBC has made a mistake or the intent could be having us to pay for the missing episodes. Just so the BBC can make extra bucks.
I would give this back to the shop but my partner got this for me. I don't think it's right giving away presents.
The only good thing is the episodes that are on DVD are brilliant. David Jason at his best. Absolute classic.

This truly is the greatest comedy to hit the screens in the UK. Some of moments of comic genius written by creator John Sullivan are on a completely different level to anything else seen on British TV. Yes, you can talk about Del falling through the bar, and yes you can talk about the blow up sex dolls. They are classic moments, but there are so many hugely funny scenes that are so advanced, it really is amazing how JS thought of them. For example, my personal favourite is in the episode Heroes and Villains when Del Boy and Rodney go to a publican's ball dressed as Batman and Robin - a good idea for a fancy dress party. But then comes a catalogue of comic brilliance. Firstly, (already dressed in their outfits) the van breaks down in the middle of Peckham. DB and R do a runner and scamper through Peckham only to confront a group of muggers. The muggers leave their intended victim convinced it's the real Batman and Robin! Then comes Rodney's wonderful clench fist (ala Robin) before shouting to Del "Let's go" - in my opinion it's the perfect line and one of British comedy's greatest moments. And to top it off, they finally get to the ball only to find the landlord has 24 hours earlier died. Everyone is dressed in their funeral outfits except for our 'caped crusaders' who stand out like a sore thumb.

John Sullivan's achievements of rattling up 25m viewers is fully justified. Not only does he produce perfect comedy, but he couples that with real drama such as the death of Grandad, Cassie's miscarriage, and Rodney's wedding.

We have grown up with the Trotters - and we have died with them in some cases. But the true brilliance of David Jason, Nick Lyndhurst, Buster Merryfield and of course John Sullivan will live on.

Some funny classic comedy. Which was amusing when originally aired Del boy, Rodney and their antics. Like the bar scene where Del is trying to play it cool attracting some female attention leaning against Bar talking to trigger, Picks up wine glass and barman opens bar and he falls over. Made me laugh a lot, Funny con-men. I bought it to view entire series as watching on sky gold channel over christmas made me laugh.

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.

Grew up with this and when i saw the fantastic price on this product i snapped it up as a xmas pressie for my hubby.

this sitcom is defo family friendly with a great sense of humour, would recommend this to anyone
