One Tree Hill - Series 2 (DVD)

The season begins with the inevitable return of Lukas and Keith which causes the newly reunited Peyton and Brooke to make peace with the man they once fought over. They find this an easier task than they thought, and their new friendship with Lukas is touching in the later episodes.
The storylines are much more mature than Season One and so far there has not been one basketball match featured! The actors have pulled off very touching and emotional performances that all deserve recognition: especially Brooke who struggles to open her heart after it has been broken previously.

This season is based primarily on the characters romantic affairs with many of the characters falling in love then having their heart broken. Peyton falls for the runaway Jake who returns with his daughter Jenny, and Karen has an extremely close student-teacher relationship whilst attending a business course. Taboo subjects like drugs and homosexuality are also dealt with giving the characters depth and emotion, and showing the audience that problems should be faced and dealt with.

The main focus of the season is the strain put on the teenage newlyweds Hayley and Nathan. Hayley wishes to pursue a singing career and Nathan begins to wonder if he is a part of her future. The following events change their lives forever and both actors pull off poignant performances.

Overall this is a much more mature and well scripted season that is thoroughly enjoyable to watch. The season is left on a whodunnit and now I can't wait for season three to find out who it is. Definitely one of the best teen dramas on the TV and, dare I say it, better than 'The OC'.

Ibought it for my girlfreind and she loves it , she likes the series and wil be buyin the rest of the series soon ....

I love the one tree hill series so decided to buy the second series box set, it is great fun and a really interesting series full of teen drama! The story lines are as good as ever and the twists and turns of the characters lives really add depth to later series', which i watched first.

THIS SERIES OF ONE TREE HILL IS AS FANTASTIC AS THE FIRST YOU WILL BE GLUED FROM THE START AND IM NOT EVEN HALF WAY THROUGH IT YET.... AND I LOVE IT!!!

i like watching the programme and i had missed some of the episodes on the tv so i bought the dvd boxset which you can watch anytime when there is nothing on tv with a bottle of wine.

brillHaving converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.

I absolutley loved this series I recomened it to all my friends. I'm a 12 year old girl and have already bought the next series!! I love one tree hill and the price I got it for was FABBY!!

I love everything about this dvd series. I started watching it religiously on t.v and decided that I had to have the whole collection.

this is even better than the first season, it as you guessing who did what but the characters have all got great parts and they all play them well. It as a great story line but you should watch to find this out. This is a great programme well worth watching, already got season three and thats just as good waiting to get next one now. But all I can say is great show well worth watching for any age not just teenagers.

Love this season, season 1 got me hooked and I had to buy season 2. Its amazing :) :) :) :)

I loved this series. The drama, the music and the characters. This series explores more than the first flush of love and delves into everyday love. In this series the characters must grasp for their dreams and recognise the dreams of others, accept and support. All characters are brilliant in this and the supporting roles of Deb, Dan, KAren and Keith are amazing as are the new characters!!

A great tv show, everyone will love it. It is better then any of the soaps on tv. Every story line you can think of is in the seasons somewhere its just great !!!

The T.V. Show is excellent. Great actors, great story lines, great times watching it. The show is just perfect.

Its the best teen drama that I have watched since the OC and Dawsons Creek, completely hooked!Well worth a watch, essential to follow it from the 1st episode though otherwise it wont make a lot of sense.

This season is brilliant. Filled with excitement and supense. Brilliant storylines keep you hooked, easy and fun to watch, great to get caught up in. The first season was brilliant and this one is even better!!!

I loved this season of one tree hill because it has more exciting story lines than the first season, though I won't tell you these as it will ruin it for you if you buy it! The soundtrack is great as well and there's not a single episode that's boring or weaker than the rest which sometimes happens with series. Another good thing is that theres's 6 discs so it lasts you for ages and when you rewatch it you won't get bored as quickly because there's so many episodes. The only bad thing I would say is that every single scene of one tree hill, as in season 1, seems to have a deep meaningful conversation in it which is definitely not like real life, but its funny anyway. If you're a one tree hill fan or even an OC or desperate housewives fan I would definitely recommend.
