One Of Our Dinosaurs Is Missing (DVD 2004)

Bought because I remembered the film in a flash of nostalgia and my flatmates didn't believe such a film existed, the film is as good to watch now as it was when I was eleven.
The acting is excellent throughout, and although it doesn't really try and be overtly PC (it wouldn't, being from the seventies), it manages to paint a charming story.
Peter Ustinoff does very well in his role, and Helen Hayes must have been typecast.

Overall, it's a great little film. Completely unique.

Good old fashioned humour. Disney at it's best. Peter Ustinov is a superb actor, and coupled with the sterotype chinese, british nannies and Deryck Guyler as the museum security guard, the great Roy Kinnear and Dereck Nimmo
difficult to see how this film although a nonsense could be anything but great fun and totally watchable.

This film is just F.A.B adventurous and funny, you can't tire of this film, a bit childish maybe, but hey there's a little child in all of us!

I bought this DVD for my children as I have very fond memories of watching it as a child and remembered it as being an excellent family film. The film suits all ages from the very young upwards. Despite lacking in all the modern day effects and stunts the film has the same appeal as Mary Poppins and Bed Knobs and Broomsticks. All three of my children love it and it was a pleasure to watch again. If you are looking for super wizz bang effects then this is not for you, but if you want a good value all round family film then this is great.

i love the simplicity, sillyness and down right comedy of this film. the terribly british nannies are fab, and finding out what lotus x actually is, is a work of genius.

Loved the title. I have 2 small boys and thought they would love it. the description didn't go into too much detail, but they are not impressed by it. But hey, experience and all that. Otherwise, delivery and packaging good.

I remember watching this film when I was about 10ish and it stuck in my mind from then on its a film that you dont forget. Its funny and silly at the same time and visiting the natural history museum will never be the same as it hasnt changed that much. The kids will love it as its will think about dinosaurs and learn some things. Good for a sunday afternoon or saturday morning. Its set in the time when children had nannys and very british.

I remember my mum taking me to see this when it first came out so I bought it for my 7-year-old who loved it and laughed all the way through. Highly recommended film.

Bought this as a birthday present for my husband from our son, its his favourite from child hood and I must agree is still comical today, the old ones are always the best, of course the best bit is that the day is saved by the nannies (go girl power), but really it is a lovely story depicting team work to beat the bad guys so everyone can benefit.
If you like the classics and want to feel like a kid or just want to pass on a good laugh to the next generation, this won't fail to entertain any age group.

I have always wanted this film on dvd thats why i bought this one.

Great characters, very english, wonderful musical score and of course dinosaurs!! Probably the jurassic park of its day.

I really loved the innocence of actually stealing a museum piece but also the adventures that not only the children had but the Nannys did too.

My Dad has wanted to re watch this film for some time so I was glad to find it in such good condition.

I first saw this at the pictures years ago with my dad and someone mentioned it to me a couple of weeks back, so onto ebay i came and there it was, a proper disney classic, by any stretch, my kids enjoyed it as much as i did, and so did their grandad, smileys all round.
