I bought this item for my wife,she used to use a small cassette type for ages.
Ist thing to note is the compactness of this item,a bit like a small mobile phone,it's menu and navigation is easy to use,the clarity of sound is ok,the cost was excellent for what it does! recommended!!

I love my handheld digital voice recorder.
It is small, holds a lot of recordings, easy to use. I work in a school and the children love to hear their voices.
Nothing negative about it at all.
