Very small, very light, though feels a little too plasticky. Functionality is good, microphone sensitivity good (and adjustable). File handling and indexing simple and functional. Voice activation is excellent, doesn't miss a beat. Clock is not the most accurate but ok for marking the recording time. Wouldn't rely on it over a cheap quartz watch though. Recording times good given the limited memory. Will probably look out for a PC variant which allows usb connection to PC and dumping of recorded files. Overall an impressive bit of kit, especially as I only paid £10 for a factory refurb including free plug in noise cancelling microphone which is considerably better than the built in mic. Easy to navigate and operate VR with more than enough memory for 100's of memos, easily categorised into choice of 4 folders. More than adeqaute volume on playback and choice of headphones plus a directional external mike included. Playback quality is perfectly good as is record quality, plus you can download memos onto the PC. The unit is fairly light and seemed slightly plasticky but in actual fact its well made and as long as you are fairly carefull should last. Overall I recommend this product to anyone who wants an entry level VR without breaking the bank. To be honest, ist probably the best make / model in its price range.
