Seems to be a decent pocket camera. Framing is easy, pixels enough, so that you do not have to frame 100 full screen, good for quick shots. My problem at the beginning was noticing the switch over to digital zoom at the end of tele zoom. Beware, if you do not want to lose the quality. Not enough experience yet for morte. Eddie
This is clearly a bottom-line camera, which was exactly what I was looking for not being a photography expert. It has a pretty high resolution, although I guess reduced features with respect to higher-priced models mean that the quality of pictures will be lower than other 7MP cameras. It is compact and quite light, and powered by AA batteries, which are easy to find anywhere. It can record video, but has no mic. The package was a refurbished camera, had a few scratches on the casing but no major issue. Memory card and camera bag are not included, batteries were.
i like this camera alot, it is easy to use and it small which makes it easy to carry around with you, and i think the retail price is quite reasonable.
What I like most about this camera is it's size and ease of operation. The thing I dislike most is the rate at which it eats batteries, will have to get some rechargeable ones, but I am informed that even these don't last very long. The reason I bought it is that because of it's size I can easily put it in one of my musical instrument cases and it is always there for a snap or two at one of the many folk sessions I seem to frequent these days. I have a Canon 350D but this is too big to haul around to sessions etc., although the quality is much better with the Canon. Value for money though the Olympus is ok.
I bought this camera knowing that it was a reliable one as my daughter has one, it has a very clear screen to review what has been taken & is very easy to use - at the moment I have no dislikes with it whatsoever
