The camera is easy to use and, after briefly consulting the handbook, I found the camera's use quite intuitive - I hardly ever consult the handbook now. The supplied software for interfacing with a PC is also very good. The camera works well and for quite long periods on rechargeable batteries. Obviously the use of an xD Picture Card increases the number of pictures one can take/store and the recording time in video/movie mode. A 250MByte card will provide approx 13 mins of video/movie recording whereas a 1 GByte card provides approx 56 mins of video/movie recording.

Please note that when in movie mode the unit makes a slight, irregular clicking noise: I was informed that this was a fault but, in fact, it is normal.
