Olympus E-300 Digital Camera (Body Only)

The Olympus range of Digital SLR Cameras have all been designed from the ground up, specifically for Digital - where other's are still producing 'Compromised' cameras having artifacts from the Film age. Also, the Olympus range of Lenses are of the most wonderful of quality, and offered in the ideal focal lengths, at reasonable prices.
The E-300 states its resolution as 8 million pixels, but actually has closer to 9 million pixels. Furthermore, this camera provides all the functionality you could ever want for all but the most demanding of sports photography, and I have yet to see any camera having a superior build quality. And pay particular attention to the viewing method employed on the E-300 - it's a stroke of genius!
In all, the E-300 gives you all you need, and the build quality is second to none. Why hasn't it been more popular, and how come you can pick up an E-300 so cheap? I think it's only because many DSLR users prefer the traditional look of a camera. I own an E-410 and an E-300 - both are superb. Yet, in all honesty, if I let one go, it won't be th E-300.
I very much recommend the E-300, and the rest of the Olympus range. And if I had to re-choose my camera kit, I'd buy exactly what I've now got.
