Oasis - Dig Out Your Soul (CD 2008)

Brilliant albumn from Oasis, every track reminds me of The Beatles, my mum recomended it to me and I can understand why - A class!!!!

This is Oasis how thay should be,some great tracks,my favorite is TO BE WHERE THERES LIFE,its just great and should be released as a single.

Absolutely awful effort from Oasis. If this is the best they can do, it's time to pack in. Don't buy if you have any sense, and try any other Oasis album instead.

Like a lot of Oasis material, you have to listen to it a few times. Once you know the tunes and (most of) the words you are in for a treat. Especially the first track (Bag It Up), this is an exceptional piece of music. Don't do what I did, listened to it once and put it to the side for a month before going back a second time and actually listening to it. I've recently ordered two more copies as presents for the friends coming to Heaton Park in June for the album tour. So, do yourelves a favour, buy it and keep listening!

i bought it because i love all their other music the oasis album 2004 went with me and my husband traveling so they remind us of very good times, and know this one will be equaly as good.

As a Oasis fan for many years you come to love all there songs on the albums. But I just cant get into this album at all. For some reason to me it's just not the Oasis we all love and know. None off the songs grab you the way they used to. I have listened to the cd a dozen times and never once have I wanted to play a song for a second or third time. I remember buying an Oasis album and listening for hours and replaying a few song over and over till I knew all the words but I am sad to say this falls a long way short off all the really great songs and albums.

NOT THE BEST ALBUM THEY HAVE DONE (THEN AGAIN WHAT COMPARES TO WHATS THE STORY) STILL VERY GOOD AND EASY LISTENING. CRANK IT UP AND CHILL.

Originally bought it for my wife but loved it myself also. One of the best CDs I have bought recently. I would recommend it to anyone.

Great great album,with Oasis hitting top form again.Starting the album with Bag it up.The turning another great track that follows on brilliant,liams voice top notch.The rapture is f**king brill with a hint of The Doors 5 to 1.The Shock Of The Lightning The first release.Im outta time is Liams version of John Lennon,gonna be a no 1 single. High Horse is a great song and new direction. Falling Down is Noel back to early days,like an old b side.To Be wheres There's Life reminds me of a Stone Roses track.Aint Got Nothing/The Nature Of Reality go nice with the album.Solider on is very good and should be a single as well,the tune is arse kicking.

11 well thought out songs many of them medium paced and definitely slower in pace than Definitely Maybe/Morning Glory/Be Here Now/Standing On the Shoulder Of Giants/Heathan Chemistry/Don't Believe The Truth.
Stand out tracks include Bag It Up(About drugs), Waiting For the Rapture (NYC electro-pioneers),Shock Of The Lightning(Lightning Hopkins?) and The Nature Of Reality (1960s Pysch-out).
Overall an Album that fits together well and plays through easy enough.

The first 4-5 tracks are fantastic, but the album then goes slow, which is also good. A great contrast. Oasis are brilliant.
