The O.C. - Series 2 - Complete (DVD)

Well, it is the OC so you gotta love it!

This series picks up shortly after the first season ended. However even if you haven't watched Season One or if it has been a while since you watched it you always have 'flashbacks' in the beginning so you can understand the story line.

The scenery and camera action is brilliant, the music is just awesome and the actors are brilliant. There is a lot of dry wit and irony involved which just makes the OC fabulously entertaining, even when some of the scenes really pull at your heartstrings!

What really makes this drama so good to watch is that it is not all just about kids - you also see the parents' lives and what they are dealing with, which actually isn't as boring as it might sound!

I think as well it really shows that money is not everything. All the fabulously wealthy people living the 'high life' and yet it is all a sham and a facade that can slip away so easily. One is only as wealthy as one appears or can keep up the appearance!!

This series is poignant, funny, sad, exhilarating, exciting, hilarious and heart-wrenching all in one go and it is this racing mix of emotions that you feel as you watch it that makes it so enthralling to watch.

The only downside - if there could be a downside! - is that it maybe needs to lighten up a bit in places, especially concerning the fatally doomed romance of Ryan and Marissa, two of the 'mainest' characters in a series that is just jam-packed with main characters! Their story should be made a bit more 'happily ever after' style, though not too much because that would ruin the tone!

Just a note concerning the presentation - the dvd's come in boxset form which is very well laid out - six dvd's in their own case, each with different picture of a cast member on them. It looks very neat and is a credit to any dvd collection! Again the only downside is I would have liked to have seen some more extras on them and outtakes or deleted scenes are always good to have - unfortunately this series contains neither but then hey, maybe they are too perfect to make mistakes in the OC!!

Overall it is an excellent teen drama - even for someone like me who has (only just!) passed teenage years!

Love all the drama that could only happen to the people who have everything. Crazy storylines from a town so rich that is occupants fall for people from the other side of the fence for love!!

i LOVED it, and it is a must buy if you plan to watch all of the series. i started watching the 1st one, and i couldn't stop! you can also bag a bargain with ebay with these boxsets!

i loved the first season and this was even better so if you were a fan of the first season you wont want to miss all the action from orange county in this second season

If you like OC, can't go wrong. It's all part of the series. Either you are a fan or you are not. I have watched the first series, now onto the second and plan to watch them all.

i just love the oc and want all 4 seasons on dvd so im slowly buying them all, i bought this one as it was the best one i could find at the time, and i got a real deal on an awesome tv series

In terms of American Guff that gets sent to the UK, The OC is actually one of the better ones.

There's nothing the UK's teenagers love more than to watch rich American "teenagers" have some bizarre, exaggerated and overblown crisis.

I say "Teenagers" because they all clearly look 25 and are playing 18 year olds, but it now seems that we've accepted this and we really just want to see pretty people.

And what pretty people there are in the OC!

Needless to say, the OC is very watchable with moments of humor and sadness, I just feel the OC was one step too far and clearly hangs on the coattails of My SO Called Life, Dawson's Creek et al.

very good item! excellent condition exactly as it was described! and excellent value for the price I paid! The condition of the dvd's were fab with no scratches perfect!

Best series of the show i believe by far, the best comedy with Seth, Ryan and Sandy all on particularly funny form, also plenty of drama with Kirsten, Jimmy, Caleb, Marrissa, Summer and some new characters coming into the show. Also a big improvement is that Ryan talks much more than he used to, which i felt was a let down in the first series.

I bought this for my daughter who is in teh process of collecting this series.
She is very pleased with the quality of the dvd's the box was damaged but not extremely so is worth the money we paid for it. excellent bargain.

i bought this for my daughter as a stocking filler. ebay has the perfect prices for stocking fillers.

The purchase of this product is due to my partner who got me hooked on The O.C. in one afternoon! It is a fantastic programme, there's a character for everyone. There's laughs and there's tears, there's some fantastic tunes, and great celeb appearances (George Lucas!). But be warned... you cannot exist with just one series, you need them all!!!!!!

I bought this as i am a tv nut and if you look in HMV these are going for like £60!! i only paid £18! unfortunately i was watchin a few and bid on this one thinkin it was english only to realise it was in Dutch when it arrived! not a problem though as all the language on the discs is english, just the box is dutch which is well worth it for saving £40!
As for the programme itself- if you watch the OC then you already know its great and if you dont then your probably male or too old to appreciate the love problems of teenagers! Enjoy the cheesiness as Summer and Seth reunite and the shock of Caleb's demise! Also get totally frustrated as Ryan and Marissa tease us for nearly a whole series!

After watching the first season on television, I bought that one and watched every episode. I was immediately hooked on it so had to watch season two on television two. However, I missed quite a few episodes so decided to buy it from ebay. I chose ebay as it was very expensive in HMV, so when I found a bargain, I had to take it!

the packaging was very good, the dvds where new and genuine. the paskaging was great and the dvds themselves showed very good quality videos, much better than the downloaded episodes i had. i have also bought oc series 1 before from sellers and they have been equally as good.

i loved the ending to this season with ryan being my fav character.trey was a great character too but he deserved what he got. a great second season to the OC. 24 episodes you wont get bored with as i give it 5/5 for the exciting drama of newport beach

Second season is even better than the first. I recommend it to anyone as it relates to a lot of people. It proves that rich people still and do have problems.
