excellent film. I like all in thos movie. Jim carrey is an excellent actor and the space store is very enjoy.

PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER STARRING JIM CAREY. FANTASTIC. HIS ACTING IN THIS MOVIE IS BRILLIANT, A BREATH OF FRESH AIR ACTUALY. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

If you want to be scared this a dvd for you its amazing how you can actually make the number 23 from anything really spooky film.

This is one of my favourite films. It is so cleverly done ! It just all fits together so well. Im not to sure about the end, but the rest of the film makes up for it. Overall a very good Film though!

I first saw this film at the cinema and although I wasn't completely baffled, I was left with the feeling that I would enjoy it just as much, if not more, the second time around. To me, it's a cross between Seven and Momento and was deeply chilling. I felt myself thinking about it for days on end afterwards. Looking at the synopsis, you see that it is based around a man's obsession with... the number 23. Although this premise seems week, it's a wildly captivating story with very whole, lifelike characters and many, many twists and turns in the plot. Having just ordered this DVD I am waiting like a child for christmas and can promise that this story will leave you captivated! Enjoy.

Jim Carrey acts well, and Virginia Madsen looks as spectacularly beautiful as ever. But the silly Topsy Krets nonsense (who is ever going to be fail to see that for what it really is?) and all the ways the number 23 occurs in life either actually or by means of some feindishly bizarre method of adding up letters and numbers and making the answer always come to 23 (or 32, which is, oh yes, of course, 23 reversed – so what?) becomes rather tedious.
Not in my top ten films of all time. Not even in my top 22 films of last week, frankly and I only watched 23... oo er, that's spooky (no it isn't)

Don't believe the hype!! DVD EXTRAS are better than the film! Is Carrey turning into Cruise? So glad today is the 22nd....otherwise I would be PARANOID!

always wanted to see this one the cover looks amazing and it really is a great idea (we all love paranoid conspiracy stuff) but in the end its al a bit muddled (like a badly written poor mans momento) Jim carey looks desperate to pull a funny face and fair play to him for doing something so different but you cant get away from the fact its jim carey..... and jim carey is best when he is being.... jim carey

The film The Number 23 is a interesting insight into how a number can take over your life. The number 23 seems to hold the solution to may word riddles, dates and events. Jim carry shines and reveals his dark side to tell this tale. Overall definitely worth a multiple viewings and the extras on the dvd are worth a look at to....The Number 23 'first it takes over your mind,then it takes over your life'

Very interesting as Jim Carrey acting in this one, very entertaining, would say the only thriller that I liked. (I do not like the thrillers - prefer action, comedy, sci-fi, but not thrillers. But this one).

Interseting type of conspiracy movie, loads of twists and turns and Jim Carrey is surprisingly believable in this seriuos and sexy role.
This film will make you want to get your calculator out and start adding up. 23??

people keep telling me this is good and should get it i never got round of buying one and i whated to get a cheaper one too just in case i didn't like the film this the best deal i ever had on ebay

It was an unsual role for Jim Carey, lots of twists in the plot, but over all I felt it was somewhat disappointing.

I was looking forward to seeing this film, but I have to admit I was a little disapointed with it. The characters are two dimentional, the plot a bit confusing and Jim Carrey is not really convincing in a serious thriller.

I really like this film, i love the way everything is worked out to the number 23......you'll be suprised how often that number crops up in your own life ater watching this....spooky!!...

Well I wasn't sure Jim Carrey could pull it off but boy does he. A serious thriller about an ordinary man (Walter Sparrow)who works as a animal control officer and after the gift of an unusual book his outlook on life begins to change
as he becomes obsessed with the number 23 and how it appears in everything around him. This is a mystery that will maybe make you look more closely for the number 23 in your life. Very enjoyable, I can certainly recomend it.
