Nokia N73 Mobile Phone

hiya thanks for looking at my review ive only got 3500 charcters so ill have to keep it short.

ive owned the n73 for 6 months now and i thought i should tell anyone looking for a new phone how good it is.

first let me start by telling you that when the first phone was released it had some software issues was slow at sending texts kept crashing etc however the phone is now over a year old and nokia technicians have had time to sort the software out--this is easily avalible free over the net via download and is very easy to do all you do is connect your n73 via usb download a program from nokia and run it 30 mins later you have a fully updated phone.just check the nokia website out.if you read alot of reviews out there please remember that they may have had the old software installed hence they may have had problems and been anoyyed about the phone
i have the latest software installed form the nokia website and to be honest with you this phone rocks

fast bluetooth version 2
big screen with bright vibrant colours
great battery life
very well built nice and sturdy feels good in your hands
very loud speakers for music and handsfree
expandable memory up to 2gb
much faster then my old n70
great games and applications
can play movies
great video camera mp4 quality
easy to sync and i mean very easy
can play megadrive games snes games and gameboy games :-)
has a stanby mode to save battery phone is still live just saves power :-)
very stylish

things that are not so good
headphones supplied
no wifi

ha ha thats about it seriously the only thing i can fault this phone on is the headphones its supplied with
but you can buy a adapter so you can use any headphones just check out ebay and i use my cx 300s with it and the sound is awesome :-)
when i say the battery life is good i use the mp3 player for about 4-5 hours at work and when i finish work after a few calls and a few games to the battery has used 1 bar at the max with the built in satndby mode this phone dosent suck up the juice at all just make sure you dont have bluetooth on every min of the day and turn packet data to recieve when needed :-)

i used to own the n70 please see my other review , its a great phone too i really like it but nokia have tweaked the n73 to make it what the n70 should have been in the 1st place
you see nokia arent stupid they could have released this as the n70 but they take it in stages with slight but signifficant changes to each handset in their range ie this n73 has no wifi but then they released the n80 which does have wifi but has no autofocus on the camera.very clever marketing from nokia

would i recomend this phone
yes very much so when they 1st come out they were quite exspensive but as time has gone on they have come down in price and as people renew their contracts youll find them popping up all over ebay and amazon
ive bought a few phones off ebay and they have all worked ok so dont worry about that just do your research on the seller etc

i truly love this phone i have a seperate mp3 player a seperate camera etc but when i dont wanna carry them all about then the nokia n73 does all of their jobs and it does them very well indeed a recomended purchase :-)

I bought the nokia n73 as a gift for my wife because it looked like her old 7300, it was a good price also. However with her old phone the font size was excellent which she really liked, on the n73 it was very small, much smaller than most of the phones that all my family have had. Apart from that it is a good phone.

A very good quality mobile, as you'd expect from Nokia, with enough functions to keep all but the most technically minded, ie the exact opposite of me!, happy. It was worth buying second hand to save some cash as they're still quite pricey new from all the main service providers.
This is the third (various makes) mobile I've bought on ebay and I've yet to be disappointed.

good 3.2 camera,standard memory card allows easy picture downloads without adding more software to computer.Good dairy/event log. This phone probably has more features than I will ever use. This will save me carrying a camera and alarm clock when I travel. Considering GPS for map but needs extra kit will probably wait till next upgrade.

I like the nokia n73 it is a nice size it fits in the hand and I can use all my old memory from my old phone the text format is a easy to use just keep adding phone numbers for a group text then write the text brill. The only two cribs I have is there is no auto key lock and the snooze is fixed to 5mins, I use my snooze for my work timings I like to set it at 18mins. otherwise it is a great phone. Oh yes with google maps and internet you can find your location with gps.

recieved this phone and was pleasantly suprised with the item. it was in remarkable condition. i actaully didnt expect it as there was no picture included in the auction, and usually used phones from ebay aren't in the best of condition but this one was genuinley good quality. although there was no battery included with the phone, the seller worked with me and done their best to help me out and resolve the matter and we got the situation sorted quickly and conveniently! a lot of sellers on ebay just don't reply when a problem arises after sale! and this was a genuine mistake! i would happily deal with this seller again as i know i could trust them to keep in touch, weather it be involving a general query, or a unlikley problem! top seller and a credit to ebay! a pleasure to deal with! very happy with the service i recieved and would recommend to any of my friends or anyone in general! many thanks for top service! :-)

Overall I have been very pleased with this phone. It looks great, is nice and light, has loads of great features etc, etc. The Only problem I have had with it is that the menus can be a bit confusing and the predictive texting isn't great. I would still strongly recommend this phone though. 4/5.

I bought this phone, because of its good camera with autofocus, mp3player and miniSD port. Writing messages on Nokia's keyboard is real pleasure. The only one disadvantage of n73 is that it has no wi-fi connection.

brilliant little phone just like nokia normally make.not quite as quick and easy to use as the older versions but it makes up for it with the features it contains AAA++++++ WELL DONE NOKIA

nokia is a very good hand set
very smart and heavy duty work,its easy to use easy to undersand,have the music and many defferent rings

Keeps getting lines flickering across the screen when its first switched on. It wa a present for someone, so I was unhappy with it as the person kept complaining to me. Will not buy another N73

It represents great value for money, a common sence purchase, has many of the functions of some of the newest phones but not as expensive. Very easy to use and navigate, its childs play.
