Nokia HS-47 Headset

not the same item.. still chasing for a replacement or return,,, this is a defect in the ebay/paypal system to allow this seller to get away with this

Hi, these headphones come free with a cheap Nokia phone which is an indication of their quality. They are the bottom of the range headphones and as such deliver a tinny, unsatisfying sound with no bass or any oomph. If you like music, then don't get these. I got a pair with my phone and am immediately looking to purchse a decent set elsewhere.

I recently purchased a Nokia HS-47 Headset from China for my Nokia 3901c phone. I have to say I was dissapointed with the quality of this product. For a starters the connector doesn't seem to be properly designed so sometimes the phone doesn't recognise it. You have to push it in with loads of pressure. After you get it going, the sounds goes from stereo to mono, and it gets fiddly, again you need to put a lot of pressure on the jack for it to work. And lastly, even when its at its best, the sound quality is fairly poor, not a lot of bass etc.. Miles away from what you get on an ipod.

Great headphones with excellent sound quality. Nifty in-line clicky button allows you to answer calls and even re-tunes your radio for you if the reception is poor and your hands are busy ! A ruberised ring around the earpiece also helps to keep the headphones in your ears - much better than the shiny plastic ones that keep dropping out if you're jogging / running. The only question I have of Nokia is why is the jack so small ? Not a standard or common size jack but maybe that's why they do it - make you buy their kit !

Pretty poor, these earphones - they don't stay in my ears, the wires go all over the place, and the mic just gets in the way. I wouldn't recommend them - not even for four quid.

I purchased these headphones to replace the set that came with my Nokia 6300. (The cable was mangled in a train door. Better that than my neck!)

The headphones aren't the most comfortable, nor the most responsive in terms of bass and treble. (Some MP3 recordings can sound 'tinny', although this will have as much to so with the original production mix and bitrate of the particular MP3 file.)

But for listening to the radio on your Nokia they work pretty well. A neat feature: by pressing the button on the microphone you can switch between your favourite radio stations and skip forward to the next track during MP3 playback.

So overall, if you use your Nokia 6300 or similar as an occassional MP3 player or radio, they do the job pretty well. As headphones in their own right? Not so good.

Great hands free headphones that I use to listen to the radio on my Nokia phone. Great Nokia product which is built to last.

i like having my earphones and they break alot. this guy told me they were black when they clearly was not. it annoys me how ebay make it so easy for these people to sell products that are not even 100% genuinly listed. when i pay for items i dont give fake money, or different coloured money, i give you hard earned cash and you lie and sell products.......JOKE

Item is durable, and good lasting...i broke last headphones. the rubber ear covers come off easily so watch that!

Good, genuine peace of equipment does what you want it do. Cheap to buy, ideal with Nokia 6300, will keep you out trouble.

Great headphones i can put my phone with max equalizer and max volume and its very loud in my ear but no body else can hear my music.

They are a good choice as they can be used as headphones or as a handsfree kit or both. they are small and descrete and comfortable in the ear. very pleased with the headphones

Ideal if you are planning to listen to listen to music on your mobile. Great sound for a headset. If you want to save a lot of music you will also need a 2 or 4 GB micro SD card and a suitable USB cable but it's well worth it.

I though the item which I bought was already used by someone else. I reason which I think that is when I received the item, the headphone was not packaged properly with the wire being tired properly

Brand new and at 99p with no post to pay you can't go wrong.
If like me you break them by standing on them, shutting them in the car door etc, why not buy a few spares as well??
Work really well for hands free driving.

These come with the nokia 6500 slide phone. They are inferior to other nokia earphones such as the HS-23Which do more.
The rubber surround on the earpiece comes off so easily, usually on your clothing.I've found that by putting a sponge cover over them will cure this problem but you'll have to find some from an old set as not supplied. There is no volume control. I've used the voice control button but found the Voice reply too quiet to hear, so cannot rely on voice dial from the headset. I also don't like the fact that these are not looped and that the longest earpiece has to be draped around the back of your neck. It comes off too easily and then the whole lot ends up trailing and getting caught.
They could be louder, but are not quiet. I usually have the radio on but hate that I can't have a good song pumping mega volume!

If i could find another set or make of earphones that is compatible with my phone, I would NOT buy these(please advise me if you find some). They are cheap though and you get what you pay for!! If you're having to buy some, get 2 pairs as they don't last long either,they break easily.

More than good enough for a cheap nokia phone!
Makes radio reasonable sounding but not nearly as good as my sony ericsson ones. They look like they are good quality and well put together. If you want a cheap set of headphones then these are great!

I accidentally broke my nokia headset, and as you know they are a slighlty smaller jack than usual, so I went ahead and bought a replacement pair. They work great, the sound is great through them and there is plenty of cable.
No complaints yet :0)
