This is an excellent mobile phone in every respect.
It is a slim and intelligent Smartphone with fast features that are no overkill for an ordinary user.
All the connection possibilities are a joy to use and they are fast!
The VoIP works well with crisp and clear reception. The interface is user friendly and the screen is saturated.
I love the fact that I only have to take one glance at the standby screen and immediately know about incoming calls, emails or text messages.
This is an excellent mobile phone for anyone who wants fast connection possibilities without carrying along a brick. !

Great size and functionality with long standby time. Pairs up well with computor software and email with the plus of wifi on the move. Have bought one for my wife as well pleased with mine and all for 120 quid with no contract from ebay?!!!!!

nokia e51 is a great phone,packed with features
but it is awkward to use at times to be honest the top buttons including the navigation key is way too small.
if they were bigger i would of kept it,apart from that its fantastic.

This phone is very clever.Lots of inbuilt memory,quick processor.
Maybe the buttons under display a little bit strange to use.

Everyone has their own ideas about a phone but the Nokia E51 gets the right balance for me between being a great functional tool, having a lengthy spec list, and being a well-built ergonomic item.

Great plus points for me include being able to use VOIP, e-mail and provide internet access for a computer as well as having flashable software and allow expansion memory cards for apps such as GPS navigation. As a phone it functions pretty well too.

I´ve paired it with an iGo bluetooth keyboard as well for easier mail/text/notes.

Great mobile. Masses of functions and very easy to setup and use. Battery last for ages, depending in use. The "silver - steel" version looks best.

Its an amazing phone.
So many features are packed in to this tiny gadget that its amazing.
After having owned one since last year, I have bought two from Ebay for the family.

Used to have a Nokia E50 but it lacked wifi. Upgraded to the E51 and have found the phone to be just the phone i wanted.
I wanted a phone that was small and light that i could play music on when using the train and for basic internet use and receiving emails.
This phone meets all those requirements.
I have always found the Nokia phone easy to use when compared to Erickson, Samsung etc and the reliability has always surpassed the others.
The down side is that Nokia have removed the pop port so it now does not fit in my car kit. I thought Nokia said they were standardizing on the one port. Looking on the net there does not appear to be holder that will charge the phone and connect to the installed Nokia car kit.

Great phone loads of spec but poor controls, buttons are to close to gether end up pessing wrong buttons, also does not have the recent list of people who you have sent texts to, which means each time you text someone you have to scoll threw the list of people takes ages not good

Phone: This is a beautiful looking phone, sleek in design and feels tiny in your hand. It is a little heavy but this is easily made up for it being steel. You can feel reassured of its strength and durability, and it will cling to your car dashboard by a proprietary magnet, e.g. Krusell.
OS: If you have O2 and Hotmail, then forget it. The only reason I bought a smartphone, and I love Nokia, was to read my Hotmail emails. Not much to ask I thought but seemingly impossible to execute. Yahoo! absolutely no problem, web pages even MSN fine, but no Hotmail. O2 tell me you have to have a paying contract with MSN for some reason. After duly paying MSN £14.99 for Hotmail Plus I had high hopes. It let me read double the emails I had before, i.e. 2! Then it just kept reloading again. I am abandoning Nokia and going to try a phone with Windows Mobile 6 on. If that doesn't work, then it must be Hotmail.
Conclusion: If you have ANY other email client, then this phone is the bees knees. If I fail with the Windows OS, then I will definitely go back to the E51 and just bin my email provider.

The Nokia E51 is a great business phone, I organised my life much much better with it. It has all the applications a bussiness man would need with no extra animation that will slow your processes.

What I disliked about it is one thing that the mobile doesn't charge on usb but i don't care about it since its battery lasts for 4 days with constant use through WIFI, MS and phone calls.

Apart from that i bought it from an excellent seller which replied immediately and received the item from UK to Malta within 3days of the purchase, and the price for the shipping was marvelously negotiable.

I don't think I would ever mark a Nokia as being below average. It's my favourite make of phone, and I very rarely find anything particularly bad about them.

But the E51, while being stylish and certainly having plenty of functionality, does come over as being somewhat average to me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking it as such, but I do think you could get pretty much the same out of a cheaper model Nokia and hardly notice the difference.

The wifi, email and web setup is easier than on an old Nokia that I had, the camera is good but again there are better ones on the market, and the size and weight of the phone are both very nice.

I was a little disappointed with the screen. Seeing it in action, the font size is incredibly small - and if you go up to the next size, it's not long before you start to feel that the screen is a little bit too narrow to accommodate it. I'd say that it perhaps needs to be slightly wider for the functions that it offers.

When all said and done, it's a Nokia so you know it's going to be both reliable and stylish. Call quality is good, the ringtones sound nice... but to reiterate, I just feel that there are other models doing similar things for less money really.
