Nokia 9300 Communicator Cellular Phone

I have used this phone for some time now and it has given me no cause for complaint. Although I have now upgraded to an e90 which does more than the 9300 some elements are not as good. Being multi functional come with the price of loosing simplicity for the basic functions and speed of use. the e90 has longer menu's that make navigation slower. The calander on the 9300 is superior in the ability to repeat appointments in any manner .

ease of use and expandable memory, reasonable price and excellent phone in general.i bought as a gap filler until i can renew my contract phone as mine was broken, but also as a backup as they are very reliable.

This is the business user's phone, all the right gadgets, bluetooth, infrared, email, fax, mobile internet, Realplayer (MP3), calendar, full QWERTY keypad even with a small mouse button, Document word processor, spreadsheet, calculator and the inclusion of Acrobat Reader to view pdf files.


The easy ability to write emails, view the internet (news, weather, etc...), and sending faxes, makes this the Business users phone

However this can be useful for the standard consumer, as a lot of people have come to use SMS texting, with the use of the keyboard this is much simpler, making it easier for new users of phones and the elderly.

On some down points, noting that there is no FM Radio or a integrated camera the Nokia 9300 can be criticized.

However a fantastic phone.

I wanted to buy Nokia E90, but this is much cheaper than that.
Came with all the accessories.
Only thing i did't like is a scratch on the Screen, but its used so its ok.

Hi, to all ebayers, when you buy you have to check who's the seller! i try to have some communications with seller nothing at all i start to think this seller he will just take my money and no send the item! but to be honest i did received the item, but the buttery is dead and all skrached, and he didn't give any explanations about it! not in box just the phone in envelope with charger! this is the only reason why i give bad feedback!!

i like the 9300 as it is a good phone i like to bid some times i will to do buy it now but some times you can not get wot you want the phone is in good con and is working fine very good phone thanks

I bought it because I preferred this type of Communicator mobile which I had this type of mobile for more than 12 years - Nokia Communicator model 9000, 9110, 9210e and now getting this 9300 for a change which is 3/4 of the size of 9210e but half of the size of 9000 - all of them are Orange Network which I have never changed any other network which I am happy with the Orange. Also, the size of the mobile altogether is thinner which is better for me to carry around.

I love having this fantastic comminicator mobile because this is all in one that have PC, Word Pro, Spreadsheet, Fax, E-mail, Text messaging, download and up;oad and printed out too and what more can I ask for this brilliant mobile.

What I dislike was using new technology mobile with camera and using one thumb texting this message is really painful.

Well, where can I start. This is the second time I have owned a nokia 9300.

I will first lay down the very few cons.

1. No camera
2. A little on the large side (read more and you will see that it is not so bad)

That is the only cons I can think of.

So, Now for the pros.

1. Conectivity, Internet, Infra red, Bluetooth, cable and sinc with pc.

2. Wow, that a large inside screen this phone has. ( this is the reason the phone is large, But the extra screen size is well worth it)

3. Ease of use, Key all laid out and easy to find. Menus easy to navigate ( as with most nokias)

4. Full QWERTY ketboard, Makes writing texts and browsing the internet much easier and faster.

5. Mouse toggle key for browsing the internet, makes it a breeze.

6. Great built in speaker for listening to your music and having phone conversations hands free.

7. specialised buttons to make navigation easier and faster than ever, include: desk, telephone, messages, web, contacts, documents, calender.

8. personal navigation can be set to your own preferance.

9. Large 80MB built in memory with a MMC card slot to expand.

10. although this phone has the large screen and lots of functions, it also has a great battery life.

11. document reader, sprrad sheet reader and calculator.

12. File manager, Makes managing files easy.

13. realplayer (videos), voice recorder, image viewer and MP3 player.

14. I know every phone has an alarm clock but the alarm clock on the 9300 is far better that any other phone i know of. Multiple alarms can be set, also and be set for everyday, on 1 perticular day, in the next 24 hours, weekly and a certain day or on every working day( you can set which days you work).
This means that you will never forget to set your alarm and never be late for a meeting or work again.

15. With the quality of the screen and games, it can be used as a portable games console.

There are many other features of this phone that makes it one of the bet you can buy, this is the reason I got a second one.

I hope that this review helps you decide if this phone is for you, Im pretty suere that unless you need a phone with a camera, you will not be disapointed with what thw 9300 has to offer.

slightly larger than average phone, but really great funcyions built in for it, a great buy and much smarter than a blackberry!

The 9300 communicator seems a reasonable solution, just a few things that would make a big improvement, the most important being a vibration alart. The slightly updated 9300i adds WLAN - handy if you're often within WiFi hotspots.
The keyboard feels OK, so does the joystick (or whatever you call it).
The size and weight are quire reasonable, huge difference between the 9300/9300i and the 9500.

That's what i need... :-)
