If u try to reflash the phone because is not so good on reception u have big chance to die and never can use again.
I open the Phone to see inside ... is not like the original one.
now is to late for me to ask a refund.

When you see a product for sale that seems to good to be true- IT PROBABLY IS-.
The above phone was being sold on an extremely professional ebay site with plenty of good feedback on this "power seller". Consequently whatI purchased for £320 was an imitation gold scirroco, I was aware that i was buying an imitation, my problem was I expected it to work-which it didn't-.
A refund was requested and given by the seller and so all I lost was the £7.50 return postage, but I did gain the knowledge that all that shines is not gold [especially the nokia 8800], and after paying out £320 I could have really got my fingers burned. So bottom line is don't be gullable.

Nokia 8800 Gold mobile phone sold on ebay is a total fraud. The phone is a cheap version and is made in china. Despite all the claims made by the seller beware that what you would get is fake and nothing but fake. The gold plating is fake, the accessories are fake and once you have bought it and paid for it you will not receive any reply from the seller. Before you buy it, read this review and think!

Wow, what can i say. you wont find a more elegant, sleek or stylish phone on the market - whats more although it looks almost dated due to its simplicity it is a ctually packed full of current 2007 technology. if you are a show of then the 18 carat gold 8810 is for you - it will get you noticed for sure - be carefull though as they are well sort after and rare so are often stolen. a real must have for all you posers out there. 10/10.

The phone was faked, not real,i bought the phone for my girlfriend as a present for christmans trying to find the best phone for her, she got it and now the phone is broken already, it DOES NOT work anymore and had a big fight with her, the seller let me down, to bad, the seller said there is bluetooth but i did never recieve any bluetooth, I would like to get my money back and send the phone to the seller, thank you

Well people too be honest i would not rant and rave about this phone it seems to me it,s a lot of money to pay for what in my opinion is a basic nokia phone , the camera is very basic and the battery life is the worst of any nokia it,s so bad i have 3 batteries in total and another on the way mmmmm to be honest people there are a lot of better phones out there at half the price , don,t get me wrong it looks the deal buts that,s about it shame really but hey i am only being honest

the mobile phone (8800)have some problems, the key pad does not work properly.

Not much to like. It is a cheap version of Nokia gold plated by third party in China.

Standard Nokia 8800 which is cheaply gold plated. Manuals are all 2nd print on cheap paper, packing box not original, charger holder does not fit and the phone gold plate has resulted sharp edges around the phone casing.

My recommendation? dont waste your money!

The sender asked for me to pay money into his account cos they didnt have paypay. Paid in and never heard from them. The police are investigating the matter. Ebay havnt been very helpful in trackin hem down.

what else can you say about a nokia phone. not only reliable but very user friendly and this model has the look, feel and features.

The nokia 8800 sirocco is a phone with average features but what it lacks in feature, it makes up for in style and craftmanship. it has a very heavy expensive feel to it which in my oppinion no other phone has and trust me i'v had many. its a phone for people who appreciate style/looks over features but thefeature are not that bad.it has a 2 megapixel which takes reasonable pictures/video.it has a simple effective media player etc.the battery is not the best for a nokia.the talk time is around 2.5hrs to 3hrs but this can be lifted to about 3.5hrs-4hrs by simply buying a Nokia battery with extended life.it weighs around 145g (including battery).

also please be aware the there are MANY fake/counterfeit gold siroccos around especially on the internet.they look original and the software might even look original.the original Nokia sirocco golds are MADE IN GERMANY and NOT MADE IN FINLAND as many say.if it says made in finland on the back then it is a fake if it says made in germany then it is most likely an original but further checks should be made to validate this via the IMEI CODE etc.further more try make sufficient checks to ensure that it is not a black sirocco that has had its housing changed to a gold one.The real gold sirocco also has a white clock as a screensaver and the black/silver nokia sirocco does not have this.

the phone was a copy that was sold to me - not sure if there is any real gold palted ones out there - its a very good fake - but was not told this and hence went faulty witin a day - ( must have been faulty from before) and i cannot get it reapired anywhere because it is an asain phone and have been to;d the reapir is too major and they are able to get the parts from nokia.
so am left with a faulty non working phone - looks real nice and is quite weighty jus tlike the chrome one - so be very careful wehn buying this has not sure how you can tell if a fake or not, as eerything is exactly te same - far has I can see ( comparison to te chrome one)
