The only way to get one of these unlocked is through the original service provider. Most providers will not do this as the handset is too new to be at the end of a contract.

Normally this is not a problem, but please be aware, if the contract is not paid the phone could get barred in the future.

The best phone to buy in my opinion is one that has bought sim-free. It will have no network branding and also will have the original nokia firmware. Because it is sim-free it will come factory unlocked to all networks.

I chose to buy this due to its classy looks and great features. It is also very solidly constructed making it quite heavy. This in my opinion is a good thing as you certainly know you have it in your pocket.

It features things most often seen on the high-end phones such as 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, assisted GPS coupled with Nokia maps to make a cheap sat nav solution.

All in all a very smart looking, slim mobile phone with no faults that I have yet come across.

The only negative thing that I can say is that this phone is prone to picking up fingerprints, and needs cleaning constantly. If this is a problem for you, you may want to consider the black version instead.

I bought and then sold this phone.

there were two main reasons for this. the first was that the phone was locked onto the orange network and i needed it to be on 02. at the moment this phone cannot be unlocked and i live in bradford. (no offence to bradfordian's)but in bradford, iv realised living here for 25 years that, if it can't be done here. it cant be done. the phone is too new and software has not been released for it yet. i woyuld wait, that way the phone will also drop in price.

My second point is that. i think the phone is far too heavy. and would deffinately weigh you down. its even heavier then my Nokia N95 which is a far bigger phone.

however on the contarry the phone does look good.

OMG! this is one of the best nokia's I've used and believe me I've tried them all. I just got rid of my blackberry pearl 8120 as i could not get used to the keyboard and returning to the nokia is like meeting up with an old friend... I would recommend this phone as it looks stylish, is so easy to use. The camera is excellent, and the music player is fab.. overall 10/10

Brilliant! the best phone i've ever had! i am extremely please with it!
