This is a great phone, very smart, good looking and packed with features and because its a Nokia its very simple to use! I would recommend this phone very highly!

Ignore the idiots who think a review of the phone is a way of slagging off a seller. This phone is great piece of kit. Had one of the first T-mobile phones when this was released. Battery life hasn't been a problem. I leave bluetooth off and get a almost a week out the charge. Excellent Nokia usability with loads of functions. Fantastic screen and sound playback through the stereo speakers is amazing. Handsfree car kit with unique holder is also very well thought through. Internet access is easy with the large screen. First time I have not up-graded and have taken the discount from my network and will keep for another year. Still as solid after 1 year then when it was new. NO scratches on screen or case despite accidentally dropping at least twice onto tarmac. Overall, a worthy 6230i replacement and should be looked at when choicing a new phone.

One of the best Nokia phones with good quality sound from stereo speakers and really excellent 2 megapixel camera. its has one of the best cameras that I have seen on a phone much better than older high end nokias like 6680 n70 8800 6280 etc. it also has a good menu which is fast reacting not like the really slow menu on some recent nokia's. battery life is simlar to most modern camera/music phones

i like the sturdy lightweight design also a very user friendly phone with plenty of features to keep me happy

I bought this for my dad as it's as simple as his previous 6310. He's 68 and gets on very well with it and a jabra bluetooth headset i bought him.

The only issue I had with the phone was the signal, however it's been sent off to Nokia for a software update and physical parts change which should hopefully resolve the issue.

Nokia, like everybody knows, always make a good phone to cater for the individuals needs, and this phone does just that. Many people refer to this phone as "The Brick" phone, but if you are like me then you like to feel a phone in your pocket and not keep wondering if you have lost it due to it being so light. This phone let's you know you still have it.
Not only does the phone come equiped with 3G, a crystal clear screen and 3D surround speakers, but it also as a 2 megapixal camera with a gliding 8X digital zoom. So zooming in on a subject is beautifully smooth. The only down side to this is the fact that there is no flash, but daylight photos or video recording are pretty clear.
Now, lots will say that this is a business phone, how wrong they can be because it is both business and personal, depending on who may be using it.There's nothing like being at work listening to your downloaded tunes, or just tuning in to your favourite radio station, and this phone does just that.
If you want a phone that is loud and proud, then this is the phone for you. If you want to become a budding photographer, then buy yourself a good digital camera.

It's sometimes difficult to find simple straightforward phones. They're either entertainment centres or video cameras or PDAs with a phone attached. The Nokia 6233 is first and foremost an excellent phone, although it can also cover the other functions more than adequately.

It has a large bright display, reasonably sized keys, and plenty of volume both as a handset and on loudspeaker. You can add a memory card to store any amount of messages and contacts. It uses the well-established Nokia PC Suite to connect to your laptop so messages and emails are easily managed. It uses a fairly chunky battery, which increases the weight a little bit, but as a result battery life is very good both on standby and in use.

It does of course have a camera, and a diary function, and even an FM radio that you can listen to by plugging in the earphones. And it looks sleek and elegant. The stainless steel casing is hardwearing, although it's not designed to be as tough as, say, the Nokia 5500.

There are very few minuses. The contrast of the lettering on the keypad could be better, but you can get a press-on cover that solves that. It's a little larger than some phones, but by no means clumsy.

Highly recommended, and deserving of five stars.

The Nokia 6233 is a excellent business tool for anybody. With brilliant speaker quality (for handsfree use) and great build quality the Nokia 6233 can be found in THREE Nokia original colours, Silver/Grey (most common Ex. T-Mobile), All Black (Mainly Ex. Orange Handsets) & White. Avoid Cheap refurbs or imports. Currently eBay has plenty to choose from and pay no more than £50 for a used one & £60 for a Good refurb. (April 08) New Handsets will cost around £89.99. Also check the batteries are ORIGINAL as poor OEM replacements will last just 10 hours.

The features on this phone are both easy to use and comprehensive. For me it is a useful upgrade from a previous Nokia phone. The organiser feature is the main facility I wished to obtain and I am pleased with this feature, otherwise a phone is a phone.
The only drawback I have encounterd is the grey finish to the input pad. This makes it difficult for those with less than perfect sight to see the numbers/letters.

the nokia 6233 is a great phone for anyone, it's easy to use and the music player is great. With a 2 megapixel camera it takes great photos aswell.

Battery holds very long, excellent phone for work. Even if you work not in the bst conditions. Design is not excellent because the size of it is quite big. But it is phone as phone nothing very bad nothing very good except battery and loud stereo music speakers inside.

Just a good all round mobile phone with good battery life.
A nice size to fit in your pocket and not too small.
Nice feel to cover sort of rubber like (non slip)
Easy to up grade sized memory cards.
