I would like to thank e bay for inviting me to write a review on this item, Nintendo D S lite, I have paid for but not recieved. E bay are aware that the person selling this ds has also sold similar items to hundreds of other buyers who still have not recieved their goods. I have bought 3 ds lites to the value of £239.00 from this seller and I am still waiting for any responce from the seller, E bay and the police. E bay have also allowed this customer to hide their feedback which was clearly showing just how much money this seller has obtained without producing any of the items that were for sale on the e bay site. A more positive responce and help from E bay would have be appreciated.
Well, as for the description of the Nintendo D S Lite it could not have been better , brand new ,bid at a good price quite happy with my wins but have not received any of the ds lite's .

ebay member a waste of time, a crook.......do not buy from this ebay member you will lose your money and your goods will never arrive. To much trouble to get to post office, well don't place item on ebay then. And do not take money when you have no intention of sending goods.....This one needs locking up CROOOOOOOOK

I never actually received the purchase along with approx 50 other individuals who suffered the same fate at the hands of this seller. I reported thsi to eBay but have had no contact from eBay about any remedy or next steps despite several requests. All in all a pretty shoddy service. eBay really don't offer much protection or support at all when someone decides to commit fraud.

There was a cold cold breeze in the city, so i wondered into my house to get warm. Being bored i thought i'd have a play with ebay on the computer, as mum wanted a DS lite for her birthday. Anyway after a lot of searching, i came across a seller with a nice looking unit. I checked her feedback and all looked well so I bided for the DS lite way back in August, in fact it was the very begining of August. I sent my payment via bank transfer not so long afterwards.

Well guess what! it's now the 7th September and I still have no DS lite console. My mums birthday has been and gone!

So what happened...

No Contact.

No Response to emails.

No Answer to the ebay dispute console. In fact i escalated the dispute, but all that did was close it.

No Refund.

and still no DS !!

So what do I think....

Simple you can never be too careful, even when a seller has good feedback all can still go pear shaped in flash. It's just a shame because people like this spoil ebay.

There Are Also Special Games Like Mario And Animial Crossing Where You Can Interact With Other Members Using Wi Fi.

I Have Had My Ds Lite Now For A Few Months And Its Probably The Best Hand Held Console Ive Had, Its Light To Carry Around, And Fits Sraight Into My Pocket!

There Are Also Other Things Which Have Improved The DS, Such As Internet Has Been Added For A Extra £24.99 You Can Surf The Internet Freely Using The Stylus.

Overall I Think The Ds Is Excellent value For Money, There Wide Range Of Games For Everyone At All Ages, I Recomend It For Ages 8 And Above.

I would like to start off by stating that over the last few years, I have purchased a number of items from car parts, shoes musical instruments,bags, toys ect and have always found the items to be in order oer and as described as well as a fair price.
However over the last 3 months I have been very disappointed with E-bay inregards to ordering 3 items 1st a nintendo ds lite that the lady has taken our money and not sent the item as well as refuses to answer any messages sent to two other buyers who have also cashed in on pay pal and not sent the items this type of things make one not wanting to trade through e-bay.

I have wanted one for ages and was drawn by the unusual colour of the one I brought which is light blue. I wanted to do the brain training games to see how I faired they are OK. The only thing I would fault is the pens are liable to break or be lost and if you have young children they should be warned not to chew the nib as they will not last long if they do. It is useful to get some extra pens, screen protectors, hard case to protect it if it is dropped and a well padded carring case. Mine has a clear plastic protective case and a carring case. Great little gaget very portable useful for young (on those long journeys)and old alike for keeping the brain active.

When i first saw the original Nintendo DS i was not impressed with its look and its bulky size, also the graphics were not amazing by todays standards!

However to make up for graphics the DS has two screens, a normal screen and a touch screen with a stylus included and even a built in microphone!

After playing with a DS I put aside its look and fell in love with the new Nintendo, the stylus works amazingly and having two screens is not a gimmick, it adds to the gaming experience! Both screens are a nice size and good quality LCD's!

Then followed the DS Lite, gorgeous piece of kit matching the beautiful Playstation portable in style and also the screens could now go much brighter!A very good improvement with a choice of black or white! *update* Now you can also choose between the new silver, red, blue or green DS!

I forgot what originally sucked me in to computer games as a child in the days of the Megadrive and SNES, it certainly was'nt graphics! They were fun and this is the essence of what makes the DS so good, back to basics gameplay with the next generation control of the touch screen stylus added! (which is very accurate and works great) The DS is so easy to use and simple to control, anybody old or young could enjoy playing it, its gaming for the everyone!

Graphically it has managed to produce better looking games than the Nintendo 64 and on the quality lcd screens they look crisp. One of the best features is the ability to play on up to 10 DS consoles with one game via download play or connect wirelessly to broadband for online play! The mic works really well, the voice recognition which you use in Brain training and nintendogs works perfectly.

I cant recommend this console enough, even my girlfriend loves it and she does'nt usually play computer games! At £100 new with a game its a bargain, grab one and start enjoying games again! Also dont forget it plays GameBoy Advance games too so with the already large and ever increasing catalogue of DS titles there is the entire GBA range!

I bought my daughter a pink Nintendo DS Lite Console for her birthday last month. She has enjoyed many hours on it and has lots of games for it.
The new and improved Nintendo DS is overall 1 third slimmer and super the light. The design is tiny!!
A wide range of games are available for the Nintendo DS and graphics, sound and gameplay are all great. On most games you can even connect to the internet via the built in wi-fi connection in Nintendo DS and share and play with other DS user's across the world!

Poor communication from the seller, the item wasn't delivered and I have not had a refund!

I would not recommend this seller to anybody!

Having 3 children who travel a lot the nintendo ds has been an absolute god send to all 3 of them, its the one Christmas present that they have had which hasn't just been forgotten about a couple of months down the line. 2 years on and their still playing on them all the time.

The choice of games for them is excellent and there's something for everyone.

If theres one present to buy your little girl or boy then its a Nintendo ds.

Word of advice though buy the screen protector sheets as it really does prevent the screen from being marked.

I would love to write a report on this, but I am still waiting to receive it 6 weeks after it was ordered.

i bought this for my husband as a present, i have got to say the nintendo ds is 100 times better than the gameboy advance and the playstation 2 put together, the whole family plays on it, is suitable for all ages as my 3 year old son plays on it and my 35 year old husband! would deffinately reccomend the nintendo ds and i am seriously thinking of buying annother to save the arguments, i want a pink one for myself next!

(written by my son aged 9) The Nintendo DS is a very good games console, although it costs a lot, it's worth the money.
It has many features, including:

A built in microphone,

Two screens, (one being a touch screen)

Multiple game sockets, (it can hold two games at once {a ds one and a game boy advance one})

A flip over lid,

Wireless comunication,

No batteries required,

An alarm,

Much more Personal than a game boy advance,

With all the features there's only one bad thing, (except for the price) it can't hold game boy or game boy colour games in it (you'll have to buy a different console for those).

Rayman DS,

Pokemon Dash,

New super mario bros,

Super mario 64 DS.

I am not a young person and I was told this game would improve my brain power.
I is so good I bought my husband one, and only have to buy one game card and link the two consoles and play. It is much better than watching the TV all night. The only bad thing about it is I cant put it down.
I am sure it has helped me remeber things. If I play it in the morning it gets my brain thinking about things - it does activate my brain!!

the nintendo ds lite i bought was in excellent condition and packed well well pleased....i bought a tft monitor as well in january and when i received it the box it came in was badly damaged, on opening the monitor screen was badly cracked and main cables was missing which should of come with the monitor. i have just been through a dispute with the seller and won!! but i am still waiting for my money through paypal so as you can understand i am very wary of buying anything else on ebay at the moment.....thank you.

Bought 3 of these, one for each of the kids, and one for the missus as she wanted to play Brain Games on it.
First of all, it's a great little console. But everyone knows that by now. Second, it's sold out everywhere. And the second hand market on eBay fetches almost the same prices as retail for new.

Priorities: keep it as clean and 'new' as you can. Your kids will eventually want the next new must-have console, and you will get great prices on eBay if yours is immaculate.

Don't throw away the original box and packaging. It boosts the second-hand value.

IMPORTANT - Buy screen protectors (and use them!!), the stylus can and does scratch the screen. And if your budget allows, get a protective case for it, preferably the silicon type not the hard plastic - these can shatter if you drop the DS on a hard surface. As we discovered. The rubberised cases cost a good bit more, but do protect better.

Finally: if looking for one on eBay, don't pay over the odds - between £80 and £100 including postage should get you a nearly new, boxed DS, possibly even with either a game or accessory kit if you shop wisely. And don't get caught up in a bidding frenzy. Another one WILL be along in a minute. Look for a few days at what prices they are going for, and what you get for your money. Oh, and they cost £6 to send by Special Delivery, so anyone charging £19.99 for postage is having you on.

This little beauty you can take anywhere. It is small enough to fit in your hand bag or case! Comes in a few different colours and has plenty of games for it. It also has a volume control so you dont upset anyone nearby while your playing it! Well worth buying one!

I had my playstation for ages, as nothing came out which I felt was good enough to have to replace it. That changed when the DS came out. It is something very different, with dual screen, which one is touch sensitive! This has so many games and accessories available also. Easy to use, and fun for all the family. You can connect to other DS', and if you have the same game, join in together. If you dont have the same game, you can even connect, and play a small downloadable game! Well worth it!
