Nintendo 64 Console

As a kid, a few of my friends owned a Nintendo game console. I found myself visiting them every more often, wanting to play that console. Growing up, the need to play console games slowly faded away. My PC provided me with all the games I needed. But recently, the console craze came upon me again.
So I decided to get myself a retro game console. I was always a big fan of the Nintendo franchise, and already owning a SNES and a Gamecube, the Nintendo 64 (or N64) console was a logical choice.
I already had some N64 games, so when the box came in, I plugged everything in and the console was up and running within a few minutes. Playing classic games like The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Perfect Dark was like reliving old times. Seeing the 3D graphics on a big LCD television, is a real experience in its own right!
Since most N64 games are available at bargain prices, you can't really do wrong with this console. Sure the graphics look dated, but at least it's 3D and the gameplay is killer. And all that at a bargain price.
In my opinion, the Nintendo 64 console is a real bargain; great games and hardware at a fraction of the price of the new Wii or PS3. Who needs these new expensive games anyway...?

The fifth generation of video games consoles was dominated by the Sony Playstation, with Nintendo having to settle for 2nd place for the first time since they entered the console market.

That being said, the N64, as with all Nintendo consoles, had some of the best games of all time, most notably Golden Eye which to this day still tops lists of best FPS game ever.

Any Nintendo fan who doesn't already own one of these should buy one now... seriously go do it!

Well what can i say ... what a blast from the past and good fun .... these consoles where the cutting edge of technology when released ....

Good fun and brings back some good gaming memories .
