Really pleased with this camera. Wanted a budget DSLR camera- this was the cheapest I could find so wasn't expecting too much but was amazed by the picture quality, features and ease of use.
This camera has an automatic function which enables to use it like you would a normal point-and-shoot camera. Without having to manually adjust any settings at all, the camera reacts to it's environment- altering aperture/ISO/ shutter speed for optimal picture quality. So simple a child can use it (in fact my 3 year old daughter has taken some brilliant photos with it). But for those of use wanting to gain a bit more control and understanding- the camera has simple to understand visual representations for each of the settings and a help menu that warns you if the conditions are bad eg. lighting is inadequate, decrease shutter speed.
The best thing about this camera is the picture quality. Having only ever owned point and shoot cameras, I was concerned that only having 6MP would be a problem. I now know that this only becomes an issue if you plan to blow your pictures above A3 size. I would reccommend this camera not just to anyone wanting to get into the world of SLR cameras, but to anyone who wants to take great everyday photos.
