This really is a fantastic lens. I like to use prime lenses for the maximum aperture. On the D200, auto focus is fast, much faster than on the laboured D70 and the image is so bright you won't believe it. This lens will have you snapping portraits all day. Good on a digital camera for candid or head and shoulders shots as the magnification gets you in really close; choose a 35mm or 50mm if you need more in the frame.
A great lens; buy one.
