New Zealand 2005 - Inside The Lions Den (DVD)

This film gives an interesting and at times humerous insight into the Lions tour of 2005. It is entertaining and comparable to other inside rugby DVDs I have seen. I would prefer more match footage but other than that it is a top DVD.

This was a very enjoyable DVD to watch and went indepth as to what goes on "behind closed doors" in the Lions changing room.
Shows the ups and down of the tour and the difficulties they had to overcome.
I would reccomend to anyone who is a serious fan of Rugby Union and the British and Irish Lions.

This DVD is an insight into the life of the Lions on tour, showing scenes that you would not normally see on the telly, shows the tactics, upsides and down sides all in all a very good put together DVD.

This is really only for you die-hard Lion's supporters. It's quite a short documentary, it has very limited match play coverage and this is shown with pretty poor camera angles. It attempts to follow the same format of the 1997 Lion's Tour of South Africa, but doesn't really come near. I guess the results may be part of the reason, but I bought it to try and get myself in the mood for the forthcoming Lion's test. It didn't work, so I put the 1997 DVD on and felt immensely better.
