Nearly Great

Tricky what can you say maverick musician or w*%%"! as most people i know call
him.But i think he's the most intresting artist about saying that this is not a great album.I feel after Maxinquaye he lost his way a bit and only started to return anything like his former status with the blowback cd.
I must admit i didn't know about this cd until recently but loved Poems with the great Terry Hall and of course Martina Topley Bird.The rest of the tracks are intresting in a strange way and maybe in time they will grow on me.

L'album raccoglie più voci sotto l'unico sguardo dell'unico che merita di intitolarsi un CD con l'appellativo di Nearly God... Beh non solo il CD è denominato Nealy God, non nascondiamolo!
Nonostante gli illustri ospiti, ciò che emerge è la genialità del nostro...qui ancora con le radici nella terra del trip hop... L'album è un pezzo di storia del genere - ohibò, alcuni brani assai più di altri, va detto! - però in ogni caso si ascolta tutto d'un fiato.
Ho acquistato il CD su e-bay in quanto in Italia non credo mai di averlo mai visto, nè mi è stato possibile ordinarlo (anche perchè non viene catalogato come album di Tricky, e quindi è difficile capirsi col rivenditore di dischi)... e quindi una volta di più grazie ad e-bay.
Attendo un prossimo album di Tricky da riacquistare in e-bay. Presto.
