This film is an absolute must for any family. It will not dissappoint whether you are 4 or 94. It certainly is a fun for all ages film. The kids and I enjoy it everytime we watch it.

I loved this film from the moment i saw it i had to buy it. it is full of children 's magic and Colin Firth is as lovely as always....(a hugh fan). I totaly recommend this for a family with small children. A must have in your kids dvd collection. :) :) :) :) :) :)

Mary Poppins is great and so is nanny McPhhe, but you would bemistaken if you think the two films are anything like eachother. Emma Thompson did a great job and the boy who played Simon was brilliant. I did find the snaggle tooth and warts a little gross and I don't see why they were necessary for the part at all. A nice ending and some clever twists.

An excellent film for younger children. My three have watched it over and over. The actors are all fantastic in it. There are no scary bits to worry about with the really little ones. Bundels of good clean laughs for the kids. A great family film.

NOT to be compared to Mary Poppins!!!! and yet the children seemed to like it.Emma Thomson not qite right for this role. She lacked a soft side and the warts suited her!!!!

I'd heard about it, seen clips and longed to see it, I wasnt let down at all. Its now the 2006 favourite film of my grandchildren, myself and my son. Well worth the price! We've watched it again & again & the kids know the words & sequencies off by heart. Id recommend this film to anyone of any age, gender or backround, its a smash hit with us and will be with you!!

THIS FILM WAS SUPERB. GREAT ACTING, GREAT START,MIDDLE AND END. MADE ME CRY WHEN THE TWO LOVERBIRDS ADMITTED TO CARING 4 EACH OTHER. AND WHEN THEY WERE GETTING DRESSED UP FOR THERIR WEDDING , FUNNY MOMENTS TOO. GREAT FILM . SEQUEL WOULD BE EXPECTED .

having been told by friends about the film Nanny McPhee i decide to buy a copy myself, the price was correct and was cheaper than any of the high street shops.

Extremely pleased with my decision to purchase this film. Heard lots of conflicting stories about, it so decided to see it for myself.I loved the whole film. I did think it may have been along the lines of Mrs DoubtFire, but the resemblance stops at the Nanny. This whole type of film is ME to a T, I Just wish it could have been longer. I can't wait to see if there may be a follow on and how they would go about it. The make up department did a fabulous job on Miss Thompson, you wouldn't have recognized her.
I can only liken this to a modern day Mary Poppins. I'm waiting for more.

If you want a true feel good film with a wonderful cast and characters, this si the one for you. Emma Thompson's make up was so superb that my children didn't even know it was her! The story even has a moral and ahappy ending, so waht more could you ask. The special effects are quite good and there are many laughs along the way. Enjoy it, we certainly did.

This is a really fun film and well acted. Colin Firth is as gorgeous as ever and Emma Thompson is on fine form too. The film is extremely silly at times but the actors do manage to make it work, and there are no awkward moments. The children play they parts well too and are a credit to all the other famous actors who also feature in the film.
Nanny McPhee is by no means a classic but for any one who enjoys a movie without violence and swearing and enjoys other films of this type e.g. Matilda would do well to watch this movie.

I BROUGHT IT FOR MY GRANDSON,I THINK THAT IT IS ONE OF THE BEST FILMS I HAVE SEEN FOR A LONG TIME,IT IS SAD AND ALSO VERY FUNNEY TO WATCH.will keep you watching it.

Now listen to me children, young and old, whoever you are and wherever you live. This is Nanny McPhee calling to you to teach you the five lessons you need to learn to be very, very good children.

Number 1. Always watch my film with an open mind. You have no idea what you might learn. If you are an adult, you can learn how to listen to your children. Listening is such an under rated skill. You can learn that as you make mistakes, you can also learn from them; a lesson every adult needs to learn. That is what all the Brown children learn in my film. You can learn to understand each other better as well.

Number 2. Always watch my film as a whole family. Whether young or old, there is a message contained within. For adults, there are lessons in understanding your children. For children, there are ways of helping you to understand your parents, as strange as they may seem at times. Be prepared to try new things together for out of newness comes life.

Number 3. Always learn from my film how not to treat each other, whether you are young or old. There is nothing so nasty as a child who does not treat their parent with respect and love and a parent who fails to love and nurture their child. All this and more you will learn just from watching my little film.

Number 4. Always listen and watch how good children behave as you watch my film. Parents especially can learn how to encourage a well behaved child as much as a badly behaved one. And children, always try to show your parents the right way to behave, just as Simon Brown does with his father. It takes him some time, but he shows him the way to be happy.

Number 5 is my favourite. Always do as my film instructs you to do. That much is vital if you are all going to be happy as a family. I can assure you that if you watch my film, your little family will be as happy as the Browns are by the end.

They learnt all of the five Nanny McPhee lessons for them. Perhaps you can learn your five lessons too.

kirk jones and emma thompson star in this wonderfull film about some very naughty children and they get an new nanny this is such a wonderfull film that evreywone in the world should have if you dont have one get one now of this website it is cheap and a exelent it is defenetly worth to get one so get one NOW

i am sure lots of people would need a miracle nanny.we bought this movie because we seen it before and wanted our children to see this.they were very
scared but amazed at how some kids would behave.can watch this a hundred times

Bought this having seen film on tv and as a family really liked it. My sons birthday was a good excuse to go ahead and buy it to watch whenever we so wish. DVD arrived in good time and was in perfect condition, as if it had been bought new from the shop.

Just could not stop laughing at the antics of the children, such super acting from those so young.
Should keep kids quiet for hours on rainy days.
