This is Uwe Boll's latest Film (Alone in the Dark) & works with some of the best action choreographer's from Films like Hero & House of the Flying Daggers.
Not to mention a great cast including: Jason Statham, Ron Perlman, Burt Reynolds, Ray Liotta, LeeLee Sobieski, Matthew Lillard.
It is a Good Vs Evil Fantasy Action film like Lord of the Rings without the big budget, but is well shot and was surprised that the acting was not cheesy.
Do not get me wrong it is not the best action film ever made but it is a good watch for a night in.
I would give this film a Respective 7/10

liked fighting scenes, but a little corny in places ending not that hot either. bought it because the story and pitures on the sleeve looked apealing

I thought this film had quite a bit of action and to me, was something different. The director of this film should be given a medal because I could not find any faults at all. It was well directed indeed. The acting was very good and to be honest, I did not fall asleep through this film, meaning I really enjoyed every minute of it. I bought this dvd to add to the rest of my collection of Jason Statham"s dvd"s.
