NEC 338 Cell Phone

I simply love my Nec 338.

The battery lasts and camera good enough! I use the MP3 player a lot. I think it has everything a phone needs and it is really simple to use!

Qhite a good all round phone , very sturdy and works well , no bluetooth , but if you are not bothered about that , it is a good buy

i like the colour of the phone the style, size, shape and the layout. The bad point of it is the areal sticking out.

If you use Bluetooth, Infrared, or save loads of data to a memory card do NOT buy this phone. It doesn't have any of these. It's a 2004 phone and seems to be designed with simplicity in mind. It's a flip without an external screen and has an external ariel, and there's very little else to make it stand out. It only has 17MB of memory and that's yer lot. I've yet to explore all of it's features, but I'm sure they'll prove reliable. Of course, battery times will vary depending on the services you use. I'm looking forward to using it. I bought it knowing it was an uncomplicated phone that does exactly what a mobile should do, but very little else.

Good little phone that works well and is very robust, just one snag is that the charging portal is not too hot and I have to keep getting another phone to charge the batteries.However replacements are cheap

The phone is nice and small but some of its settings are difficult to use. It is not easy to send a text message and takes quite a while to figure out.

This is a very solid yet lightweight, well-made little phone and doesn't seem to suffer from the 'flaking' finish of other phones I've owned. I love the swivel camera, the volume is excellent and sound is clear. I've used the MP3 player to store my favourite tracks and then listen to them on speaker phone mode. My only criticism is the average video quality, but this is still acceptable even though others are better in this regard. Overall, the best phone I've owned because most importantly is has been by far the most reliable!

I love my nec 338. It is perfect for me in everyway except one. It cannot play mp3 ringtones.
The camera is adequate, navigation relatively easy. It is a neat little phone that looks nothing special from the outside, but has everything I want (except for mp3 ringtones).

Good phone good features on 3 network this particular phone was sold as NOT tested and didn;t work and up to now this has not changed, so unfait to review the product but has exceelent features as the model is a few years old now

A little worried about not being able to unlock the phone, I was not aware of the problems with unlocking NEC 338 cell phones.
I will be more on the ball next time.
I must say I have now had one or two bad purchases through ebay.

That was cheep and Japanese. It was good condition. Old model but strong signal I am happy about it.
