N.C.I.S. - Naval Criminal Investigative Service - Series 3 - Complete (DVD)

Series 3 of N.C.I.S. brought in major changes after the dramatic ending to series 2, with new characters joining the regulars. Those fans that love the series like I do need not panic though as these changes bring new compelling back stories to Gibbs and his team. As ever the writing is of the highest quality and the acting superb, which again proves why this is one of the greatest TV series ever. All the characters continue to grow and mature, and each gets a chance in the spotlight, while once again we find out just a little more about the fearless Special Agent Gibbs, (easily one of the top characters ever created for a tv show,) superbly played by the amazing Mark Harmon. The tension, the brilliant storylines, the character growth and of course the humour are all still there. Yes, in spite of the major changes it's still as great as it ever was. Trust me when I say that if you like C.S.I., (as I did,) this show is a hundred times better!!! SUPERB!!!

The programme is brilliant it has charaters, humour and shows you how things may have been done. Each charater has their own personality, faults and humour, with out detracting from the over all programme. I know it is fictional to a certain degree, but all these things in the episodes make it good to watch with out turning over. Abby may be my favorite, because she is completely different but fits in. Next would be Gibbs, in charge but in a way to make them think and protect them. The other 3 would follow as equal, I am now looking for the other series, it is DVD's you can watch over and over again.

As i was totaly hooked on the series JAG this spin off was the logical follow on to watch and i was not dissappointed it's brilliant so to have the chance to buy it on dvd was even better you won't be dissappointed it's great can't wait for series 5&6 to come out (on region 2 uk)but so far it's not available.

Its the best u.s series going. The characters are very interesting and as each programme progresses we get to know a bit more about them. The programmes can make you laugh and also cry its just great.

The reason I bought Season 3 is because of the same reason I bought seasons 1,2 and 5. Season 3 brings two new characters to the series, Cote de Pablo as Ziva David and Lauren Hutton as the new director Jenny Shepard. I thought when the finale of season two brought to the end of Caitlan Todd played by Sasha Alexander of how they would continue, but it did and Cote brought new light to the series. The episodes were better than ever and had not only me, but my two boys riveted to our seats. The only season left for my collection is season 4 and although I have seen every episode at least 3 times, it won't be long beforeI get hold of it. To me this is the best television show in years and long may it continue.

Fab series with great characters. I used to like CSI but was persuaded to switch to NCIS by my husband and kids, and now, like them, I'm hooked!
Similar to CSI but with more humour and personalies you get to like.
We all have our favourites in our household, husband likes Ziva and her often messed up attempts at English sayings, my girls love Dinozzo, and think he's just gorgeous. Me? I would let McGee come and fiddle with my computers ANYTIME...am I the only one who thinks he is sooo cute, with his dimpled chin and puppy dog eyes?
Seriously though, would recommend the series to anyone, and I am going to be buying all the series on dvd as christmas presents for the family, (and then I can watch Mcgee as often as I like, LOL)

Unable to give a review about NCIS Series 3 as the DVDs have not been Delivered and now is a Paypal Investigation, as a result I will have to buy it from HMV

Love it, love it, love it. Season 2 ended with such a cliff hanger, we could not wait for season 3 to reach Norway, so we bought it through eBay UK to cut the suspense. It`s great, if you like CSI/House/Law and Order/ kind of whodunnits, then NCIS is for you. More humour than CSI and the same tongue in check political incorrectness that make House MD enjoyable make this refreshing and at times laugh out loud funny. At the same time the whodunnit side of the investigations are new and interesting. Plus if you are old enough to remember Mark Harmon in Flamingo Road, then that alone makes it worth watching - did I just give my age away there?

a great carry on boxset for this tv series!! full of great moments from start to finish!!all the characters are brilliant and the story lines are great!!differently a must have!!.

I liked the series NCIS and realized i haad missed the whole of season 3 so decided to buy the box set on ebay. I did. The seller was legit and his description was reassuring, so i bought it for a reasonable price.

I am a big fan of NCIS and have collected series 1, 2 and 3 this is a brilliant series and just keeps getting better, I intend to buy further series
