N.C.I.S. - Naval Criminal Investigative Service - Series 2 - Complete (DVD)

As a huge fan of NCIS, this is definitely worth buying and viewing for those who like programs like csi, or law and order. If you don't like these programs I still recommend you watch NCIS. It is like no other program you have seen and is very funny and interesting to watch. You will fall in love with all the characters, as they each have their unique things about them. Definitely a must see and own type of series. You won't regret watching it.

Just like season 1, this series is great viewing. Even though I am still watching season 5 on television, watching old episodes from previous seasons is still a must veiwing. As I watched the season finale, I wondered how they could carry on by losing an important member of the team, but with viewing season 5, they did. This series is the best series I have watched in many years, so much my children love watching it. May the series continue after season 5.

i love this series because there is laughter as well as sadness and helps you understand what goes on behind the scenes of crime scene investorgaters and lets not forget abbey you could not replaice her she makes the series

Unable to give a review about NCIS Series 2 as the DVDs have not been Delivered and now is a Paypal Investigation. as a result I will have to buy it from HMV

this is a fantastic boxset full of tense and thinking moments!! if you love mystery and enjoy trying to work out who did what then this is the tv series for you!!

IF YOU'RE NEW TO NCIS: Firstly, NCIS stands for Naval Criminal Investigative Service. They are a small team of people who investigate deaths, missing persons, terrorist threats, and other serious crimes involving Navy personnel or on Naval bases in the U.S. The regular team consists of investigators, forensics and medical examiners (a.k.a autopsy), along with a few other supporting "players". Each episode (around 50 mins) deals with a new case, although there have been a few two-parters. Sometimes "baddies" turn up more than once through-out a series. It's very easy to watch even if your not familiar with the Navy, they're very good at explaining Naval vocabulary, etc., so don't let that put you off. You'll enjoy it if you like CSI, Without A Trace, etc. If you do want to get into this you should start with Series 1 and follow through chronologically (trust me it'll make more sense that way).

It seems pointless telling you this series is great and that you should buy it now, as we all have different tastes and viewing preferences, so instead i'll tell you why i love it;
The crimes and investigations themselves are dealt with in a serious way, but there are still some funny bits that keep the overall feel light-hearted, these usually involve the characters interacting with each other. Everybody that i know that watches this show has their own favourite character. The shows writers have allowed each character to develop their own personality and traits, making each one special, not only to each other but also us the viewers. I also like the fact that, being centered around the Navy, it makes the programme feel a little bit different from all the others. The Cast are excellent, the scripts superb, and the programme entertaining from start to finish. In my opinion each series keeps getting better, so i'm looking forward to Series 5 coming soon on TV.

I enjoyed watching the series when they were on tv but, like many modern movies, the viewer can gleam more enjoyment from watching a second time and without the advertising

I have loved NCIS since the first time i have seen it on Television and i am overwelmed that i now own it on DVD

l like the diversity of the episodes and the inter - group banter that occurs, each part i well played and true to fact. I never realised that head smacking could be such fun, and how did Jethro get the boat out ??

Having stumbled upon an episode accidently one nite i was hooked.
Its very similar to CSI only the navy (lol) but then again theres more interaction between the characters in each episode were i find csi can mainly be about the crime plot (but must admit love csi 2). Looking forward to collecting the remain series.

If You Like C.S.I and other forensic medicine shows, then this is one a recommend. N.C.I.S is a collection of episodes were put simple, FIND DEAD BODY, CATCH WHO DID IT!
