This is definitely the best greatest hits album for The Who. Can you believe some of the newer versions don't even include Baba O'Riley (track 13)?! I bought it for myself and my Dad: we're both big fans of the band. The songs still all sound so modern - even though many of them are now over 40 years-old! Perhaps this is why the album appeals to both his generation, and mine. The Who's music is a cool and classic sound, and a must-have for any serious record collection.

I can't believe it's taken me 40 years to get round to buying a Who compilation!
I know all the songs back to front and they're still on the radio all the time - I even heard My Generation played on Saga not long ago. So has the Who's music become a soft and mellow sound for the over seventies? Absolutely not - all the menace, anger and energy is still there, brilliantly brought out in this remaster. Listening to it's like being 16 again. Love it.
If you're too young to know about the who, get this and acquaint yourself. Brilliant music, clever lyrics and that all-pervading anger at the disenfranchised that more and more of us are feeling every day.

The CD is excellent, there is nothing I don't like about it. I bought it as a present for my husband. We both watch CSI - Las Vegas, Miami and New York and just love the music. We have always liked The Who

Great CD (The Very Best)
If you love the Who then you will love this music.
All the ones you like such as My Generation, Pinball Wizard, Happy Jack etc., and some not so well known but I think all good and twenty in all.

You have Roger Daltrey - Vocals
John Entwistle - Guitar and vocals
Keith Moon - Drums
Pete Townsend - Guitar, piano etc., except on track 20 - Kenny Jones

It comes with an incert with little booklet (on front cover) with pictures of those tallented guys.

All in all a great cd.

Excellent piece of nostalgia. All their greatest tracks. Bought because, for my birthday, a friend and I went to see a Who tribute band and it bought back brilliant memories.

Having converted most of my old video collection to DVD I was thrilled to find this film gem in digital format. If you watch this in widescreen format, it really does the battle scene great justice; coupled with surround sound, you'll be gripped by the amazing cinematography. I would recommend the director's cut that includes scenes about the relationship between the lead character and his estranged wife and helps you to understand the motivation behind his decision. The run time is 183 minutes for the directors cut and 120 minutes for the cinema version. I was, however, disappointed by the lack of extras, which any fan of this classic would expect to be included. There's only a 20-minute interview with the director and other shot "making-of" vignettes.

Erm, worth a listen for anyone who enjoys listening to good music. A must own for The Who fans. Some cracking tracks make it a nice little stocking filler
