This machine was bought specifically because it plays records.
We bought this item as my husband is keen on birds and we have birdsong on old fashioned records that he wants to be able to listen to. I like listening to my cassettes too. We do have dome CD's but not many. Neither of us own or know about ipods etc.......yes we are old fogeys as far as technology goes!!!!!
The machine is fairly easy to use, all in one place and was bought at a very good price!
I was very disappointed that there were no instructions with the machine but we soon sussed out what to do with a little help from my daughter.
I would buy the machine again if I needed to.

I have been looking for a turntable with CD player for sometime so was very pleased to have won the bidding for this. communication with the seller was excellent, and we kept in constant touch. delivery was superb as it arrived a day after the order was sent. i am very pleased with the condition and for the price that was paid it was a bargain. the description matched the stereo, and i will recommend to anyone this trader. he is truly one of the best that i have dealt with and it will take alot to find someone better

) This type of stereo system is scarcely available any more - an echo of the 80s. By no stretch of the imagination is it top of the range, but it produces a listenable sound. The only fault I had may be a generic one - the inability to fit the turntable lid without a little fine hacksaw work. It produces a more cheerful sound if you have some old speakers left over from a better system (as in my case). A workable work-a-day system. Best of luck with the mangled English in the instruction booklet, though - despite the name, this comes from somewhere a bit further east than Dublin.
