The Muppet Christmas Carol (DVD 2002)

When I was a kid, I always wanted to see The Muppet Christmas Carol and I didn't know what to expect when I saw it. I'm s thrilled to finally see it and now that I grew up, The Muppet Christmas Carol is one of my top favoruite Christmas movie perfect for every christmas.

Kermit The Frog is one of my favourite Muppet Characters.

This partial cartoon and human blending is so charming, and it really retains the essence of the Charles Dickens story.
It can't be faulted, and will charm all ages.
i recommend it, since, ive been watching this on tv for many years, and just had to add this version to my dvd collection, you'll love it.

Muppets Christmas Carol is a light hearted view of the classic Dickens story. You know what you will get when you settle on the sofa! all the usual muppet characters (kermit, Miss Piggy, gonzo etc) plua soem great cameo's (the meeces for example). The only problem with this version is that it has been watered down for the expected audience (children). I would recommend that this is a good way into Dickens' story, but no substitute for reading the book. the book gives you much more information and description, and also carries the heavier themes that Dickens wanted to convey. Having said all that, it is an excellent film and a favourite in our house!

THIS IS A GREAT MUPPET MOVIE, MICHAEL CAINE WAS FANTASTIC IN THIS HE PLAYED THE PART OF SCROOGE BRILLIANTLY. IT WAS ONE OF THE BETTER MUPPET MOVIES.

This is the funniest christmas film of all time in my opinion. the music is fantastic and uplifting and the muppets really bring a new edge to an old much loved story.

A good family dvd, bought for Christmas, to watch again and again.A good price paid for a hard to obtain in the shops dvd.

Great family christmas movie, probably the best muppet movie ever, with scene stalers The Great Gonzo and Rizzo the rat as Charles Dickens and Rizzo as himself.

absolutely brill film, brings out the child in you great characters and upbeat music and loads of laughs, everyone should watch it at least once in their life if not a hundred times. FAB

Brill film, i watch it every christmas, have been doing since i was about 10, im now 22, the "it feels like christmas" song is just the best, it always gets me in the christmas spirit!!!
