Mr And Mrs Smith (DVD)

Very, very, unlikly story of two undercover agents that are married to each other but don't have a clue about the others secret job.
They have marriage problems and are sent to kill each other.
There is chemistry, lots of action, not much plot but it passes the time and might raise the odd smile.
Just about OK.

Youve been waiting for a great film from Brad pitt and Angelina Jolie, two very sexy celebs.
Good film just what you would expect though.

I found angelina to be more of a Lara Croft (tomb raider) in this film and Brad a bit of a bumberling idiot.
The film is about a couple who marry and later find out they are both spies/hit men-women for opposing companies. They end up with the hits of each other for around half a million.

The scenes are sexy, funny and cunning but do lack a little plot lining. You can see whats going to happen next before it does and it doesnt really take you by suprise any of the time.

The story is told by the two of them which basically ruins it before it begins as you know the ending straight away.
Personally I find the film a good one to relax to, you know an evening chill with a wine and slice of cake but I wouldnt go out of my way to buy it.

my verdict: borrow it from a friend that has all the DVDs they can get their hands on but save your own money.

I liked the film and thought it was good to see Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Put a comedy spin on this action thriller

Despite some dodgy reviews, I found this movie very entertaining. The plot may be a bit unbelievable, but I doubt it was ever meant to be a 'deep' meaningful movie. The plot - Two spies who don't know what the other does. If that doesn't indicate what to expect...
Chill, suspend belief and enjoy...

Bought it because I missed it at the cinema, good watching but more for the younger viewer as bits of it were a bit far fetched but all in a good buy, I sold it back on here

Thi film is good in some aspect and also bad in some aspects, its good because of all the action, but bad because you can see what is going to happen in the film, all i would say is it is average its not bad but not excellent either, worth watching though.

I am an Angelina Jolie fan, and I have every Angelina Jolie film I had the Mr And Mrs Smith (DVD) before, but it got damaged so I got it again at a very good price.

The ting i love about mr and mrs smith is that i have a thing about Brad Pitt. It my favourite film. I dot dislike anything about it. I wanted it because i didnt have it on dvd and really wanted it. it was the cheapest i found so i jumped at the chance.

Despite being a typical american movie, I was pleasantly surprised. Mr and Mrs Smith has all the components of a Hollywood film: Love,comedy, fighting, fast cars, guns but most importantly a pretty girl and a hot guy to please viewers of both sexes. Good film and one you can watch more than once

This film it great, the ultimate battle of the sexes. Very tongue in cheek with brilliant chemistry between Jolie and Pitt, can see why they ended up together! Vince Vaughan puts in another funny yet faultless performance. Well worth watching.

Ti was excellent movie both acters were great we like the way they realise love for each other ti was a good movie to watch directer did his best

Just has to be one of the best action comedies around! :D

This is a great film love it beacuse the way that brad and angelina jolie show their true acting skills i think that is amazing how they have done this film!!!

I enjoyed this film so I thought what the heck why not clutter my DVD collection some.

The story is basic enough boy meets girl...gets married and something gets in the way!!! The thing that is different is they are both spies and now have to kill each other. I enjoyed the one liners and the action is good enough.

It is directed by Doug Liman. He also directed 2 other hits Jumper 2008 & Bourne Identity. More known for the TV show the O.C where he has directed and produced (no I'm not a fan of the O.C). I must admit he has done a good job directing this film. The final gun fight at the end was good. Not going to spoil it for you.

The 2 main stars in this film are well known enough to not need a biography. If you liked Aneglina Jolie kick rear in Tomb Raider then you will continue to like her action in this film. Brad Pitt also acted in his normal way. This film is no way Oscar material and did not make the stars work to hard. There is no message given and no big amount of thought is required to watch it. I liked this film as people got shot at, stuff got blown up and there was a few good one liners to make me laugh. As it is a cert 15 I watched it with my daughters and told them "see that is why you gotta be careful who you marry"

This film is designed to be a glossy action romp spliced with comedy along the way. Its pure enjoyable entertainment. So its not going to win any oscars or have you scratching your head over the plot but if thats what you want you already know you shouldn't be here! This films fulfills its premise very well and is one of the best slick action films i have seen for a while, the only other film with this level of smooth production was the very enjoyable and highly entertaining Oceans 11. Now this doesnt have a plot with twists but its serves it purpose well and is perfect to watch when you want a fun enjoyable film to use a couple of hours. Very good action/comedy with two of the most indescently attractive people on the planet!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are ordinary suburbanites John and Jane Smith a typical married couple with seemingly typical married issues, until the truth comes out! Unbeknownst to each other, they are both highly skilled assassins working for rival organizations. Eventually they both a targeted by both organisations and have to work together to stay alive. A very sleek, well written and clever comedic action movie that fans of either Pitt or Jolie would appreciate.
