Nice feel to it and fits into the pocket quite well.
If you do not want all the technical stuff then this phone is worth looking at.

A nice looking, handy sized, very simple to use straight forward phone. It is so simple to use that I did not have to read the instructions. If all you want is a phone, then this is the one.

I bought this for my wife as it looks the part for a lady being pink. Although basic it does the job, especially with the deal on O2, where my wife can contact my daughter at college cheaply. Easy to handle and neat in the bag or pocket. Ring tones that came with the phone are a bit boring so any needed will have to be purchased.

My Black Moto W220 as the title suggests, is just a phone... which refreshingly is sometimes all you want or really need in this complicated world of ours. No memory card, no Bluetooth, no camera, no... I think you get the idea. The W220 boasts nothing except that it's a decent mobile phone. It's a neat, small, perfectly formed flip phone which has a decent battery life and call quality that’s second to none. Its smart understated black rubberised shell covers a nice large keypad and at around the £30 mark for a new one, it’s cheap as chips... What more could you ask for! As you can see from my reviews I have a few phones, all are first-class in their own right but the W220 stands out by being the only one I’m most likely to keep in my pocket when I crave to keep things simple and be able to use my mobile... just as a phone.

Does what it says on the tin, bought as a basic phone and works as it too, up and phoning in 5 minutes after receipt.

I wanted a basic flip phone for making and receiving calls and texts. I am not interested in all the other party tricks that most phones are capable of these days and I object to having to pay for them. This phone still has a few frills, such as FM radio, but it is nice and cheap. In particular I did NOT want one with any sort of camera, so this one was a winner.

I have only just got this phone and I have not yet got fully to grips with it. Nevertheless, so far it looks really neat and easy to navigate. The rubbery coating gives good grip. Unlike my last phone, this one responds very quickly to pressing the keys and you do not need the eyesight of a hawk, to be able to read the text.

basic phone with no camera but an external analog screen with color icon for missed calls and sms. overall for the price it is good looking phone and it folds neatly and fit into even the smallest pockets. not many people own this phone so people do give looks to this phone. it is recommended if you are on a tight budget

great phone but only one detail is wrong which was written in on the details that there was meant to be blue tooth feather on it and that was why i was buying it in the first place and when the phone come that detail was not on the phone sharon

Hi this item was a great buy. The price was inexpensive and I love the colour. It is very easy to use and it fits into all my hand bags. It is quit a girly phone,love it.

I'm not a heavy user of mobile phones. I've had only 2 since the mid 90's with the last one being a Motorola Timeport. I only make maybe 3 calls a week, and maybe one text a fortnight, so I did not want anything fancy. I have better things to do with my money than spend it keeping a mobile phone network going. Anyway, the Motorola was getting a bit long in the tooth, so I wanted a modern, light, and easy to use phone with no gimmicks, that would slip easily in my top pocket. And the Mororola fits the bill perfectly. Especially as I picked one up on Ebay for £20 or so. It's a great little phone if you don't need a camera (I'm a photographer so why do I need a camera in my phone ??), with sensible size buttons and an intuitive interface. I'll probably keep it for years. I would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a basic phone. Oh, and one last thing. It holds its charge for about a week. Great. earniesale

excellent reliable but phone i thought it was good value but now realise could have bought similar phone at same price which had a camera and bluetooth which this does not have. will shop around in future.

The Motorola W220 Cell phone for me, does 'exactly what it says on the tin!'...
I wanted a simple phone for phoning and texting, the menu is very user friendly and you can display your preferences 'on screen'. Easy to turn to silent or vibrate for when you're working, a selection of ring tones that 'do the job'. I chose pink and it's a fab fresh colour!
The battery life is fantastic compared to my previous Motorola Razr, it has been lasting a full week before needing a re-charge, though I'll admit I don't use it daily for calls & texts, it's switched on every day.
I love the flip phone style as you don't call anyone by mistake, and it's compact to fit into your jeans pocket or handbag. Overall a great little number if you're looking for something simple! I haven't found anything I dislike, as I wasn't looking for a phone with loads of 'bells & whistles', if you're looking for something more complex then this probably won't be the phone for you, there is a radio as well, but I haven't tried it. I can only say that I LOVE my little phone, and would recommend it if you're looking for one that's easy to use and that performs the basic functions of calling & texting!!!

I was fed up with these phones that were all singing and all dancing, I just wanted a phone i could send and recieve texts and calls. The Motorola W220 was just the phone i needed, i know it's an older model than the current phones but it is just what I want. It's simple and easy to use, and i don't need a degree in phone-olegy to use it, as the advert says it does what it says on the box, brilliant.

This is a great phone for those who want a simple unit that has very long battery life and do not want to be weighed down with extra features. The only thing I would like added to this phone is Bluetooth for a hands free kit but I can live without it.

My brother loves these phones, bought him this one for his birthday as he'd lost last one. Nice size, slim phone, perfect for pocket. Pretty basic but has everything need for an easy to use, tough phone.

Nice little phone, bought for my father in law 74yrs. Not complicated and easy to use. He is very pleased.

The good things about this phone is that first it cost me less then two quid, second it has a nice clear screen and it is prect for people who want a simple phone for texts/calls and nothing else. Also it is a good choice for a budget phone as it is a flip phone so the screen never gets marked. Plus this phone is very small and much lighter than some of motarollas later models.
The bad points about this phone is there is no bluetooth which is disapointing and the navigation keys are to spreadout so moving around the screen is ok if you have bighands which is strange as the phone is fairly small.

Does not have bluetooth, the screen cover highlights the type of activity i.e, call, sms etc nice original idea when first introduced....

This was bought as a Christmas present for my husband. I like it because it has all the functions needed yet is easy to use. I would recommend this phone to anyone who doesn't want all the fancy gadgets that come with a lot of phones but which does all the basics easily.
