Motorola RAZR V3x Cell Phone

This is a surprisingly durable phone. I dropped it a few times from about two feet onto the cement in my garage and it didnt even dent, scratch, or crack like some say it does. The only draw back to this amazing cell phone is that the video quality is so-so even in the best of conditions. You can also only record a video thats 5 seconds, which is really useless if you ask me.
But apart from that the phone has everything you need, and the look is second to none..

Excellent phone, stylish, easy to use features. You cannot lose it yet it is small enough not to seem bulky and can easily slide in and out of jeans pockets. Can do loads more than you probably think, key pad is big enough for my big fingers! ...no miskeying here! All round good product for the money.

I think this phone is excellent, despite the slight opinion of the design. It is fairly bulky compared to the v3, however makes up for it with its superb camera, and i must add that although only 2mp, it out classes all other 2mp phones i have ever used.

The front screen does scratch easiy from generak use. The keypad is really nice to use, and the phone, after you have navigated the phone a few times, is very easy indeed to use.

I would reccomend this to anyone who doesnt go for complete style, and also to those on a shorter bugdet, because this phone really offers alot for the price.

If you want a music phone, obviosuly the v3x is not for you, and the speakers are very quiet indeed.

I bought the Motorola V3X because I am used to using a Motorola and have always been happy with it. I wanted to own a flip phone as I thought it would be easier to carry, screen would not get scratched etc; also I needed to buy a camera and was told that this phone could take excellent still photo's, unfortunately hav'nt taken many as yet so can't really comment on that.I find the pedicted text a bit strange to work out, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.Nice ringtones. Easy to use in all other ways.

This phone has everything you could want: MP3 player with excellent headphones, Bluetooth, decent still and video camera, 3G video calling, internet, memory expansion slot, in built speakerphone, personal planner.
If you could get a Motorola slide phone with these features I would have one tomorrow but I don't think Motorola do a phone with a spec as good as this now. Was this their peak?

I used it for over a year and found the battery life good, the call quality great and a really easy phone to live with. I have just had an upgrade from my service provider and am really reluctant to swap from this phone. I'd recommend this phone to anyone

Great clamshell form factor with perfect size, very slim, light and sturdy. Great phone if you are after the looks. However, it is far from being perfect, comes with several problems, follow below.

PROs:
- Small/slim size, lightweight, but all metal sturdy construction
- Very nice large dual LCD
- Perfect set of functions (if you want something more than basic)

CONs:
- Horrible, user-enemy menu
- Impossible to disable ring-tone without noisy beep sounds (how more stupid can a designer be?)
- Very bad battery life, won't last more than 2 days
- LCD can't be read under sunlight
- Reception is weak sometimes

Overall, I suggest you go check something else. If you are crazy for its form, then maybe you can tolerate the CONs above (I wouldn't, but my wife is happy with it).

i love this phone!

i have this model and i have now brought one for my mother.
it is straight forward to use, has a great camera and the first camera phone i have had with great quality to get them developed!

also great to have a flip phone so that the screen doesn't get damaged

loud enough to hear in your handbag so you don't keep missing your calls!

very clear screen so easy to read text as its bright and clear

keys are nice and spaced out so really easy to text, also turn sound on so you can hear if you miss a key!

so much more about this phone which is great but why not buy one and try it for yourself!!

bought it to work with my car bluetooth phone system
was one of the few clamshells that would.
i prefer clamshells because the key board and screen are protected in the pocket
predictive text system is better than most
slightly on the heavy side , but otherwise very functional

I've had one before but squashed it. I like it because it is an attractive phone that is easy to use. It has a good camera and a cool mp3 player facility on it. It does all I want from a mobile phone and more.

Communication with the seller was excellent: my own similar phone had given up the ghost, and this seemed to be the ideal substitute - and so it has proved to be.

You could not want anything else in a phone

Despite the phone apparently never having been used, it could not actually BE used! In pristine condition, the phone was - and still is - lovely to look at. The problem was that the phone was - and still is - locked. However, before you say "that's easily fixed", think again. The phone was originally purchased as a 'pay as you go'. As a consequence, it had, in addition to the conventional unlocking code, a "subsidiary code". End result: a phone that could not be unlocked; a phone that could not be used. Nice to look at, but .....! Very disappointing.

smashing little phone - camera adequate but not exciting - no backup memory card access - clamshell protects screen & buttons - very easy to use - wanted bluetooth and was excellent - overall cheap and easy mobile phone

I was asked by a neighbour to purchase this specific brand of phone, i'm not normally that interested in phones but I was when I received the Motorola RAZR V3X, the graphics were crystal clear, the sound was equally clear, the screen is of terrific proportions and lets me see clearly what I was doing and I loved the trendy pink colouring as much as my friend. I definately recommend this brand of phone to anyone looking to purchase a new phone, hope this helps fellow eBayers!

its a lovely phone with a big screen and is also 3g because its a flip phone then its screen does not get sratched up like the slide and choclate phones

This mobile is absolutely fantastic! The value was outstanding and whats more I find I only have to charge it once a week instead of every other day as I had to do with my old mobile. This was a great find and I am over the moon.

i have brought a pumpkin colour motorola razr v3x phone,its a bright colour which is very appealing, easy to use, large keys on keypad, a flip up phone which makes the screen a good size to play games etc, would recommend, there is nothing i do not like about it.

OK, So I loved my old RAZR V3i (the RAZR for those who 'know') but the Camera was adequate (rather than useless on a V3!) getting apps like games and OPERA to work didn't happen but the texting beat T9 into a cocked hat and it felt soooo gooood.

Tried a S.Eric. 3G - OK but somehow didn't hack it so ebayed a dark blue, "soft touch" V3X - if it were as slim as the V3i I would be in luuuvv. Whatever, the colour is gorgeous and it feels really 'tactile'

This thing's slightly thicker thasn the original RAZR but a bit of time setting it up your way and suddenly this thing comes alive and the size (only bout 1cm anyway!) doesn't matter as much. OPERA 4 runs fine and enough other apps work well. Camera has a light (or torch!) and close-up focus switch and at 2MP is good enough for almost every day-to-day piccy. Takes big enough (1GB) cheapo MINI SD cards, menus can be tweaked big time to fit your way of doing things so whilst some people rave about 'knockier', this gets all the basics where you want.

A quality 3G phone with decent camera, good apps support, great texting and tweakable to make the way it works, the way you want. Seems to support fairy good media range , battery lasts better than a lot, classy colour scheme and kinky/sexy to touch/feel with a keypad that's a reasonable size.

The one I got was O2 branded but add a T-mobile card (I had a contract) and change some menus and the only way you can tell is the O2 start-up and shut-down screen, an O2 internet item in an obscure part of a couple of menus and it works fine.

Call me easy to please but this thing is getting better by the day ... the S.Eric just continued to prove increasingly annoying and the V3i didn't quite have enough features (although the nicest to hold/stick in a suit).

Now they're not trendy - but have the trendy features - these things are hidden gems ... ( I paid about £25 all in)... JUST THE SORT OF THING EBAY WAS CREATED FOR!!!

The motorola v3x i bought off e bay was complete rubbish. it was in a worse state than the phone i bought it to replace. i will be very wary of what i buy in the future

I like Motorola V3 series a lot that's why I made this purchase on ebay. I am very pleased with the phone so far. I haven't had any problems with it. I thought the offer was good and that's why I decided to bye the phone.

The memory on this phone isnt really all it is cracked up to be.

A good compact phone never the less. Picture quality is very good as is the sound of ringtones.

This phone is a lot better than the standard V3 and this can easily be seen just by looking at the compactness of the mobile along with the more complex option menus.
