Motorola RAZR V3i Cell Phone

This is a surprisingly durable phone. I dropped it a few times from about two feet onto the cement in my garage and it didnt even dent, scratch, or crack like some say it does. The only draw back to this amazing cell phone is that the video quality is so-so even in the best of conditions. You can also only record a video thats 5 seconds, which is really useless if you ask me.
But apart from that the phone has everything you need, and the look is second to none..

THE 5 SECOND VIDEO CAN EASILY BE SOLVED WITH A NEW SOFTWARE UPDATE, THEN YOU CAN RECORD TILL YOU RUN OUT OF MEMORY :D

Well, I ve read loads of amazing things about the famous Motorola V3 series. and frankly speaking, I was NOT that eager to even try one . BUT, gosh i m ever so glad I did .
my first experience was with a V3.. an amazing phone, superb design and great features BUT, very small internal memories.. only 5 or 6Mb .. not much at all.
WELL.. the V3i is the perfect answer to that problem .
It does keep the stunning look of the V3, PLUS it has the possibility to store pics, music, videos on a micro SD memory card .
and the whole things produce an amazing phone .
Mine is with Vodafone and I must say it is a doodle to navigate through. The predictive texting is easy, the picture quality is more than decent and, even though it is not a 3G phone, this baby does deliver a great punch . sound quality is great, and the phone by itself is a piece of heart.

Would I buy another one ? YOU bet I would. in fact, I just did .

I upgraded my V3i for the famous V3x.. well. sorry but I put my simcard on my V3i.

get your hands on one of these phone while you can .. They are.. amazing !

This phone is just superb. It has everything in it except the 3G and radio function. Its appearence, style and colour is just great. It is very easily to use this phone and a lot of memory can be added to the phone to store pictures and movies. I have 1gb at the moment. It's very convinent to make a movie and takes pictures wherever you are and how much you want. My maximum movie I have recorded is around 30 mins long.

The MP3 option is great but the digital player get slower when adding more songs. Songs can be only be added via the phone software and can be added one by one. It is bad that it can't just synchronise with media player or another player to upload musics as it only play a type of music file.

Great phone overall. Highly recommended. Flip phones are just lovely.

my friend has this phone, and i think it is great! i don't know about the 5 second video capture, because my friends ones video is longer than that. The only thing im worried about is that it might be D & G.

It's good little phone, nice & slim, with all the usual (video playback, MMS, games, Camera)
But the lack of memory hold's it back.

i have wanted this phone for a wile and finaly found it it was a good price and in full workin order a+++ to the buyer had a grate transaction recomended

This was to replace identical phone I broke. Easiest phone I have ever used for text messages. Very good sizes keys with precise touch. Very good screen. Very good sound quality. Nice and thin and light when in pocket. DO NOT keep in shirt pocket, it will fall out but will stand short drops.

I love this phone.I have also dropped it many times but it still works perfect.As for the 5 second video,lol.You have to change video length in the settings.Hope this helps.

I bought this phone second-hand to replace my old one (a Sony Ericsson), which had done the usual trick of the joystick wearing out, and didn't get any signal 90% of the time. Last time I buy from them.

The Motorola's camera isn't as good, and the menus are a bit confusing, but I love the hard-wearing metal case, the screen on the outside (cracked on mine, but easily replaceable), the good controls and the slim size (feels less like you're carrying a brick around in your pocket!).

An absolute bargain, as you can pick them up for very little on Ebay. And a hint for nothing? Buy one with a cracked outer screen, as they're cheaper. There's a guy selling replacement screens for £3 including postage, and they're a doddle to fit- just use a blade to lever the old one up, and stick the new one down.

I love the simplicity of this Mobile, having owned the V3 which i enjoyed very much.I felt it was time to try out the one with more media capabilities, like the Video Camera.As i do come across situations where a short clip is usefull.
Also i find the Menu very easy to navigate.The features are very much the same.Blue Tooth, hands free and voice dialling.
With the Memory Card capabilities, storage for extra photographs is excellent, and you can upgrade that(I upgraded mine with 1gig).
If you wish it is very inexpensive to unlock to any network.
I can not fault this Mobile in any way, its a top notch phone for a reasonable price.
So to sum up, if you want a slim line phone,with plenty of features,simple to use.And one that will not dial a number by accident in your pocket then this little beauty is the one you need.
I have tried other Mobiles, but for all thier fancy features and price tags, this one is a winner by far.
You can also dress it up with clip on covers,and that protects it far better than a leather cover, and also makes your phone look very different.

I LOVE THIS PHONE IN GENERAL BUT THIS PARTICULAR PHONE DOES NOT HOLD ANY CHARGE AT ALL. EVERYDAY I HAVE TO CHARGE IT. ALSO I DID NOT GET THE EXTRA MEMORY CARD IT SUPPOSE TO COME WITH. ALSO I DID HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER BATTERY FROM THE SHOP. WHEN I SHOWED THEM THIS PHONE THEIR DOUBTS ARE IF THE PHONE IS REAL?

I decided to purchase this phone because I used to have the V3 and changed to a Sony Erickson, and hated the small buttons. The V3i gave me back all of the functions I was previously used to and it had the added incentive of being Dolce & Gabbana Gold. The phone takes and sends both pictures and video in a text or email.

The phone has a strong flip hinge and I have never had a problem with this. The memory is expandable with an additional memory card, it also has a MP3 player which reproduces music quite well.

It is a little heavier than the V3 but that is the only criticism I have with the phone. I have no other negative comments to make.

I would recommend this phone over and over and in fact three of my friends have purchased the V3i because they like it.

I love everything about this phone. I love the slim design & the flip, the menu is easy to navigate, it takes great pictures & the MP3 sounds great too. I had the V3 first then the grey metal V3i & have since changed this to a gold D&G one & then traded that for the New Orchard Pink one!
I've therefore owned a V3i since they first came out and would not change it except maybe for the new Razr 2!

Was unlocked, more functions than former Motorola, slim and felt good, relatively cheap,a bit scuffed and some of former owners old pics, but that was Ok....asking for at least 100 charaacters in this review is a disencentive to write one...reviewing should be on buyers terms!

Overall excellent phone but I wouldn't recommend this phone if you text alot otherwise its a lovely slim phone. also the battery life is not so good but the features are simple to use!!

I liked the phone as i like motorola products, it is a great functional and easy to use phone. it has a great speaker system and easy to use menu. I decided to buy the phone as it was brand new and unlocked and it was the right price.

This phone is just great,it has all the right ingredients to make a mobile device fitting for any man or woman.
The thing I like the most about it is of course it's shape and size...I myself am not a big fan of small phones,and V3i is small enough when folded and definitely large enough to speak into when open.
I think I will go on buying Motorola V3 series for years to come.

Having owned a V3 for a number of years which gave good service & value, I was amazed how the my V3i replacement was so much improved. Apart from improved screen resolution, bluetooth, camera quality and additional phone functions, it came with may more included accessories such a car charger and a good quality hands free fit. For me one big advantage is it's ability to use memory cards, which with the included USB lead allows direct access from a computer. Very usefull for up or downloading pictures or MP3 tracks for the onboard player. An to top it all it's a great good looker and continues to turn heads when I use it, even if it is a bit dated now by the iPhone revolution. A real winner!

Great phone. i needed the manual for 1 or to of the settings but all together a smart sexy and stylish phone

great looking phone bluetooth not great but everything else well smart all you need in a phone its loud and easy to hear will recomend
