Motorola MOTORAZR V3 Cell Phone

This is the best mobile phone I have ever owned, it is the fourth one of the same model I have purchased, after breaking or losing the others. It is simple robust and most of all slim and light weight to keep in a pocket. It's not overloaded with features I will never use. The screen is bright and a sensible size, it links effortlessly to my car bluetooth.

Superb little phone, but a word of caution,dot try to charge it with a tomtom car charger as it will blow the charge block instantly,i know as i just did it!!!

Wonderful phone! My first "SIM free" was purchased from Lidl and cost a tad under £80. Compared to the earlier huge phones that had nickel-cadmium batteries the RAZ broke the mould. Main drawback with these is that they are attractive to thieves and my Lidl phone was in fact stolen from my car whilst I was inside having a cat-nap! (layby on the A1 Notts-Yorks border) Second drawback is that they are not waterproof. If one NEEDS a waterproof phone just for a one-off special job there is a cheap solution - a condom! I used this method when crossing the Solent in a rubber dinghy in choppy water. Fortunately it was calm the following day when I towed back the non-runner fishing boat I had bought (ferry fees for car and trailer to IOW return would have been ridiculous). OK the V3 doesn't have as much "bang" as the V3i (which I also have) but the V3i has a snag - its large external screen is easily cracked. After the V3 theft I bought a Sonim (AKA JCB toughphone) but I was not happy with this unfortunately, "sounds like you're phoning from the moon" was one comment. Next a Samsung Solid (which isn't) was tried. OK it was cheap because its window was broken, not a five minute repair as new windows seem to be as rare as Unicorns as I later discovered. Some 2mm Lexan sheet was purchased to make a decent window but I don't like the Samsungs arcane software so I shan't bother. As to arcane, the menus are too long winded (e.g. instead of viewing an incoming text directly as on the Moto, pressing "view" just pulls up a menu of options that are available for handling texts so one has to then press "view" in the menu) Another arcane thing about the Samsung is that if an incoming text arrives whilst one is typing a txt, pressing "send" sends it to the person who just sent the text! (The Moto doesn't do that) All in all I'd say that the Moto is brilliant in the way it runs. Its not clunky like also-rans but one minor drawback is that there is no torch. Some pundits reckon phones with buttons are old-hat but I still like Motos.

Definately a man's phone-easy to use and not tiny buttons that are impossible for a guy to use.Would I consider purchaing a different mobile phone? DEFINATELY NOT as no other compares.

i love the phone,the colour the pretty pink case with the crystals.it has so many great features and is easy to use. it has everything i want a mobile to have,digital camera,bluetooth,etc.. all those important features and the great thing about it is that it can also be charged via the computer. its great i love it. a great bargin for a fab product.

I bought the MOTO V3 which was used but it is easy to use and works really great,nice and slim and fits in your pocket fine i have also had a good deal on a leather cover as well.
Well pleased!!

Great build quality and easy to use. I had a fancy LG Viewty, but binned after a few months to get another V3 - basically its an oldie but a goody. Alot of newer phones have MP3, higher mega pixel cameras, but this has build quality - a classic.

just what my wife needed,it was great birthday present for her .we charged it up and works like a treat.just put her o2 sim in it.would deal with seller agine no problem

I like Motorola company, they usualy made a good stuff.
Friendly design, but battery below avarange

I have had a v3 for 4 years and had a lot of trouble getting the settings to work. I have now bought a new one off ebay and have been trying for 4 weeks to get it to work properly, i can recieve texts but cant send any, web works fine finally able to send photos, but still cant send texts have tried having settings sent from motorola but still no joy. tried contacting server with no result, i know shouldnt have bought in first place.

Item was in good condition,and exactly as described. It perfectly served the purpose for which I bought it.

I never seen a phone like this before, it is so slim and user-friendly that even my grandma know how to use it!
